What was that noise?
Victor was immediately frightened. As a Listener, his perception of magical power was much deeper than that of an apprentice. When he sensed the incredibly dense magical energy around him, he felt an overwhelming sense of danger enveloping his entire body.
This ship harbored great danger, great terror!
Without a second thought, Victor immediately controlled his Thunderwing Bird to carry him into the sky, trying to distance himself from the ship.
Just as he took flight, beams of blue light shot up from the Moonlight, rapidly converging into a massive blue sphere. A destructive aura emanated from the sphere, seeming capable of crushing everything around it.
As soon as Victor took off, he realized it might have been better not to. Flying only brought him closer to the emerging blue sphere, making him feel as if he had fallen into a trap, his heart turning ice-cold.
