The next destination was a large island, which was controlled not by one pirate crew, but by five pirate crews united together.
In the Moonlight Sea, although there were many islands, it wasn't possible for every pirate crew to have their own exclusive island. Furthermore, a smaller island meant fewer resources.
Thus, some of the larger islands were jointly controlled by multiple pirate crews.
But even multiple pirate crews were nothing to worry about. The existence of the alchemy ship allows them to move freely among the numerous pirates. As long as they didn't provoke any pirate Crews related to the Ten Great Pirate Crews, no problem was a problem.
