In only mere moments, the three of them arrived in a big room filled with holograms.
"...Wow. So this is what the alien spaceship looks like from the inside." Masachika said in wonder, his tone filled with amazement.
"I don't have any trouble breathing, either." Yuki adds. "Those aliens really have thought of everything."
"Welcome to the Adelheid Large Colony Ship number 342,894,723. It is a major vessel listed in Oracle fleet's Deep Subspace Exploration and Foreign Realm Investigation division." Alya said like a tour guide, clearly under the influence of Aida since no one among them would have known that.
"The one leading this fleet is waiting inside that door. Please take your time before entering." Alya added.
Yuki and Masachika take their time, preparing their mind and steeled their composure.
Yuki turns her gaze around, and said, "Look! It's the Earth!" as she points to the window.
Masachika and Alya turns around, and gazes outward, enjoying the view of their home planet.
"The Earth is truly a beautiful blue planet... it's like a living blue ball..." Masachika stated.
"I will never let you have blue balls, my brother~" Yuki jest.
Alya follows suit, saying "I will pledge the same thing as well."
"...Thanks?" Masachika responded to them both.
"Hmm, isn't the first man to go to outer space a Russian? I think he also said the same thing about the Earth." Yuki asked.
"Correct. Yuri Gagarin was the first man to ever go to the space. He did say a similiar quote. I now know what he felt that day." Alya confirmed.
"But that area over there... is fucking contaminated." Masachika said with disdain while pointing towards where Japan was.
A clouded dystopia with large somewhat translucent purple barricades surrounding it.
It's still a terrible sight, even from outer space.
After preparing themselves, all three of them approach the large gray gate with many glowing parts and many white alien inscriptions written on it.
"Alya... What does it say?" Masachika asked her.
Alya answered, "The evil will drown and pass away, But, since mercy triumphs over judgment, help will come to those who repent."
"The sword of annihilation on a good-hearted man will bring peace, but a rod of healing on an evil-hearted man will bring tyranny."
"Nagisa, the leader of Adelheid fleet. Operating hours: 06.00 AM to 06.00 PM. Must have appointment first. No smoking. No evil allowed."
Masachika scratches his own head in confusion.
Yuki commented, her tone full of bewilderment, "What is that last part!? It sounds like what you'd find in a regular doctor office!"
Masachika adds, "The leader's name is Nagisa?! That's a common human... no, Japanese name! Are they really aliens!?"
Alya replied, "That's... what's written here. I'm sorry if it doesn't meet your expectation."
Masachika takes a few moments to collect his cool before saying, "Yeah, my bad. I just didn't expect that normal line after the first two deep, philosophical lines."
Yuki also follows suit, saying "We overreacted... Well, at least we now know they are not that different from us."
A few seconds after their banter, the gate slides open smoothly, like there's no friction in its mechanism at all.
Yuki and Masachika gazes into the room, and what they find is undoubtedly the leader herself standing tall in front of her metal desk.
A tall, pale woman with beautiful face, hourglass figure, and long straight black hair...
Her eyes are of different color, green on the left and red on the right.
They would have mistaken her for a human being, if not for a pair of horns on her forehead along with her attire, which is unmistakably better than what humans wear.
The lady stares back at them. Both Yuki and Masachika can only stay silent in awe, their jaw dropped open.
"..." Yuki stayed silent, while grabbing Masachika's arm when facing the familiar looking unknown in fear.
Masachika grabs her hand and puts her behind him.
Alya in other hand, confidently walks forward, approaching the leader.
However, after noticing that both Yuki and Masachika are not walking, she turns around and affirms them, "Do not be afraid. Please, take a seat." She said while pointing at a nearby wide sofa.
Yuki and Masachika missed it since they were focusing on the leader so much.
Right after three of them are seated on the sofa, the leader approached them with a neutral expression, while carrying a silver box.
Yuki and Masachika stares at her cautiously, trying to not make any sudden movements.
She placed the box on the table and walks back towards her own desk.
The leader then speaks with a bold and deep tone, "O̶̧̓p̴̬̈́ȇ̸̩n̸͎͘ ̸̞̅į̷͝t̴̗̆ ̶͖̋a̸͙͝n̶̳̑d̸͉̿ ̵͚̌f̶͙̃o̵̞̍l̶̞̚l̶̟͐o̶̿͜w̷̪̔ ̶̫͒t̶͈͛h̸̬͐e̷̗̔ ̶̫̎i̴̹͝n̷̗̄s̷̝͑ṯ̷́r̵͙̒ú̷̠c̵͈͝t̶̼͂i̶͓͋o̶͍̍ń̶͕s̶̗̚ ̶͎̅w̶̭̾r̸̻͆i̸̠͝ť̸̟t̶̠̐e̷͉̚n̸̨͗ ̴̤͊w̴͔̉ȋ̶͕ẗ̶̠́h̵̭͗í̵̦n̸̬͒" towards Masachika, using an alien language.
"...What is she saying?" Yuki asked.
Alya translated her words, "She asks Masachika to open it and follow the instructions written inside it."
Carefully, Masachika grabs the box, and it opened itself automatically.
"WHAT-WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?" Masachika screamed as he stands up after reading the instruction, surprising Yuki.
"NAGISA!!! PLEASE DON'T BRING THEM INTO THIS!!! I AM THE ONE THAT DEMANDED AN AUDIENCE WITH YOU!!"
In response, Nagisa only stares back at him while tapping her fingers on her desk, waiting impatiently.
Scared but curious, Yuki looks inside the box and finds a large syringe gun with dull silicone tip, filled with glowing blue liquid along with an instruction in English that reads: "Inject the content of this syringe gun into Yuki Suou's pregnant womb."
Yuki gasped and shocked in horror. Her pupils contracted, moving around immediately standing up and going back to the closed gate with one hand covering her mouth while the other holding her own belly protectively.
Yuki looks towards Alya who didn't even flinch a bit, suspecting that Aida has taken complete control of her.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!! I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW!! I CAN'T LET THEM DO ANYTHING TO MY BABY!!" She thought to herself while looking around for a way out of the room in panic, her maternal instinct going overdrive.
But she didn't find any. She can only rely on her brother now.
Masachika can only cover Yuki behind him, until he remembered something.
Masachika turns around and asked Yuki, "Yuki, you said that the aliens never attacked anyone without provocation, right?"
"Y-yes... but... I don't know... if they consider unborn fetuses as someone... and we... we might have... offended her somehow..." Yuki replied, her entire body shaking.
Masachika hugs her tight and reassures her through a whisper, "Don't worry, your big brother is here... I will not abandon you... I will not let bad anything happen..."
"Calm down, panicking won't do us any good. Let's see if there's any clue around..."
"Remember... The aliens do care about humanity's wellbeing. They sent us the cryopods, after all. There must be another meaning to this."
"We can get out of this, but I'll need your and Alya's help."
Yuki nods, but not without warning him "O-okay, I trust you, but... Alya might have been..."
"She isn't. If she is, she would have already pinned you down." Masachika said.
Masachika looks around the box, looking for clues until he noticed there are alien writings on the syringe gun.
"Alya, what is written here?" He asked Alya.
Alya replied, "Photon-infused nanomachines for-"
But before she could finish answering, Nagisa screamed in anger using alien language, "S̶̹̾i̷̦̔l̸̻̇ë̵͓́ǹ̵̮c̸̣̊e̴̅ͅ!̸̳́ ̶̱̃T̶̫̓e̷̗̾l̶̬͌l̷̪̄ ̷̡͝t̷̠͐h̴̯̉ẻ̷̱m̵̻͠ ̶̤͒n̴̜͝ỏ̶̱ ̴̞̄ḿ̴͔ọ̸̽ȑ̴ͅe̶̝̿.̷̢̊"
"Damn it! Nanomachines for what..." Masachika asked himself, trying to guess what it is for.
He compared the inscription on the syringe gun with the ones he saw before on the gate, but nothing matches.
For the first time in his life, Masachika cursed himself for not being omnipotent nor omniscient as irrational it is.
"Are they taking our baby as a hostage... or an experiment fodder?" Masachika thought to himself.
Out of nowhere, Yuki grabbed Masachika's hand, taking him back out of his own thoughts. "Yuki... I..." He said with tone full of despair.
"...Let's just... do it..."
"...We are not even sure what are the content of this syringe is!" Masachika exclaimed.
Yuki grabs his right hand with both of her hands while staring at his eyes deeply.
"I trust that the aliens are not malevolent, or else they wouldn't have given humanity a choice or treaty to make the Quarantine Zone..."
"And... the dealer helped Alya to cheat death."
"And like you said, they don't want all of us to die to the pollutants 50 years ago by sending cryopods to us."
"I... I think if they even consider an incomplete and smushed active brain as living, they should consider a fetus as living too."
"W-well... the baby isn't afraid either... I think he or she agreed to it..."
"Our baby is brave and strong after all, like their dad..." Yuki said with a smile, still shivering from fear of losing her unborn child.
Nagisa intervened, saying "That fetus is a male." in English.
Masachika and Yuki stares at her in awe, "Unbelievable... She... can even see the baby's sex?"
Alya, or rather, Aida commented, "The fact Nagisa has spoken to you directly means she has high hopes for you both for your cooperation in this task."
"So that's how it is..." Masachika said, seeing no other choice in front of them now.
Nagisa returns watching over them silently, waiting for the task to be completed.
Yuki, who also realized there's no other choice, finally complied.
She leans back on the sofa and takes her entire clothes off.
"I-I'm ready..." She said, being full of worries, her entire body shivering and sweating all over.
Masachika picks up the syringe gun, feeling it is heavier than it looks, both physically and consequentially, considering what horror could result from their action. "...So am I."
He pushes the gun's barrel up into Yuki's vagina until the tip pokes Yuki's cervix.
"Ughmnnn... W-wait... Please... B-Big bro... I'm... I'm scared for real..." She said while gripping on his shoulder hard, crying and sniffling from imagining the horror that would happen to their unborn son.
Alya hugs Yuki from behind, wrapping her arms around her neck while kissing her cheek, whispering, "It's okay, Yuki. Everything will be fine."
Masachika smiles the best he could, trying to reassure Yuki that nothing bad is going to happen. "It will be okay, Yuki! If anything happen to our son, I'll personally punish that alien!" He said with a false bravado while winking.
Yuki nods and smiled, "Okay, I'm truly ready..."
She then caresses her belly, saying, "Mommy loves you... Please be well, my son..."
With her hands clasped and teary eyes closed, Yuki prayed fervently "God... please... don't let anything happen to my child... I'm the guilty one... I don't care what happens to me... please spare my child..." repeatedly.
Masachika closed his eyes as well, praying in his heart wholeheartedly, "Please... spare them... God... I'll do anything! Take my life if you must, just please let them out of here safely..."
He places his left hand on Yuki's swollen belly, and his right hand holds the syringe gun steady.
And finally, after taking a deep breath, Masachika pulls the trigger.
Immediately, the gun injects its entire content into Yuki's uterus directly.
"I-it feels somewhat cool..." Yuki commented as the syringe content mixes with the amniotic fluid. "Nothing so far... M-maybe, there's nothing to fear after all?"
Yuki's belly now glows faint blue from the injection.
Slowly, Masachika pulls the syringe gun out, hoping for the best. "...Nothing bad is happening, right?"
However...
Suddenly, Alya grabs hold of Yuki as she starts spasming, "W-what is this feeling...!? My baby... My baby, what is happening- OH NO NO NO!"
A rush of stinging and burning pain washes Yuki's nerves all of a sudden, making her squirm around.
Alya holds her in place, so that she won't fall to the floor.
Masachika, being deadly afraid and panicked seeing what's happening to Yuki, quickly performs dogeza in front of Nagisa and pleads, "NAGISA!! PLEASE!!!! SPARE MY CHILD AND SISTER!! I'M THE ONE GUILTY!! PLEASE SAVE THEM!!!" begging her to save them while smashing his forehead to the floor repeatedly.
In response, Nagisa grinned and steps forward, walking past Masachika on the floor beside her.
Instead, she approaches Yuki with her right hand extended towards Yuki's glowing belly.
