Victory and Loss
**Arin's POV**
The big clawed hand burst through the floor and held Cassian around the waist, pulling him off Kael so fast that I barely saw it happen.
Cassian shouted, but his words were cut short as he's pulled into the hole.
There was complete silence for a moment,then we heard the most terrifying scream from below
I rushed to Kael as he shifted back to human form. Blood was all over his face and on his chest,and he could barely breathe.
He said " I'm fine," but I could see he wasn't fine. The wounds on his face was very deep, and there was a cut around his ribs region that wouldn't stop bleeding.
"You're not fine," I said as I press my hands on the wounds trying to stop the bleeding.
"Did you see what grabbed him?" Jaxon asked, looking at the hole on the floor .
"It's none of my business what it was," Rowan said. "Casian's gone. That's what matters."
