Chiyu and Kaido—
both had pushed all three forms of Haki to their absolute limit.
Their hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship were at the pinnacle, and their Devil Fruit powers had reached full awakening.
They were flawless—no weaknesses, no gaps—squeezing every last drop of strength from their abilities.
Up in the heavens, Chiyu's awakened power, Thunder God Realm: Judgment of Sin, came alive.
A massive, violent bolt of lightning—like a living thing—roared as it hurled itself toward the blazing dragon high above.
Kaido answered with a roar of his own. His Kaen Daiko erupted, the massive body wrapped in fire hot enough to burn and melt anything, surging forward to smash through Chiyu's attack.
BOOM… BOOM!!!
The deafening clash rattled the world itself.
For a moment, everyone in Wano could feel it—the aura of annihilation, as if the end of days had arrived.
The sky was torn in two. On one side, blinding silver lightning crashed like a roaring ocean; on the other, a crimson sea of fire burned everything in sight.
The two forces clashed without restraint, and even the shockwaves were enough to drop people unconscious mid-battle.
Waves exploded into the air, the ground quaked violently, and even the heavens seemed to rip apart.
Kaido bellowed in defiance.
"Uchiha Chiyu! I'm the man who'll be Pirate King!
I'll never lose to you!!!"
The flaming dragon hurled itself into the lightning, its body shredded by the divine judgment—but still determined to break through.
BOOM!
At last, the sea of lightning was ripped apart by the charge. It looked like Kaido had broken Chiyu's attack—
but the truth was, Kaido was badly wounded, while Chiyu hadn't taken a scratch.
In dragon form, Kaido was panting heavily, gusts of wind and fire spilling from his jaws, blood dripping from his mouth.
Neither spoke.
The battlefield fell still, as if time itself had stopped.
Every eye turned skyward, waiting for the final moment.
Kaido inhaled so deeply it felt like he swallowed the sea, the land, and the sky.
Then—
"Shoryu: Kaen Hakke!!!"
His ultimate move.
The fire dragon's body burned even hotter, wrapped in both Armament and Conqueror's Haki. The blazing azure dragon spiraled in the sky before diving like an apocalyptic god-dragon toward Chiyu.
Chiyu had no doubt—this could level Onigashima completely.
He didn't hesitate.
"Thunder God Realm—Final Judgment!!!"
Every shred of his awakened Devil Fruit power, his domain, the Nation of Thunder, the Sea of Lightning—all of it poured into one point, fused with his will to form…
The Spear of Judgment.
It shot upward in an instant.
Gods, Emperors—nothing could stand in its way.
It would punish evil.
Judge all things.
Cleanse the world.
The moment slowed.
The colossal dragon of the Kaen Daiko dove.
The divine thunder spear of Final Judgment rose to meet it.
And then—impact.
The heavens shattered.
Wano's inland sea erupted into monstrous waves.
Onigashima cracked down the middle, splitting into two broken peninsulas.
The shockwave threw everyone off their feet. The fighting on all fronts stopped cold.
Kaido's dragon form slammed into the spear with all the fury he could muster, but it wasn't enough.
He wasn't truly a dragon.
Even with an indestructible body, he was still mortal.
The spear tore through him, blasting him skyward as if to nail him to the clouds.
Kaido roared in despair.
"No—!"
Chiyu clenched his fist.
The spear detonated inside Kaido, lightning obliterating him from within and without, shattering his legend of invincibility.
Kaido screamed, blood spraying, his dragon form collapsing into human shape—still skewered by the thunder spear—as he plummeted to the island.
BOOM!
He hit like a meteor, carving a massive crater into Onigashima.
His body was ruined—organs shredded, chest and back pierced clean through, blood pouring from his mouth and every orifice.
"Kaido-sama!!!"
The Beast Pirates screamed.
Kaido's defeat was the signal of their doom.
Chiyu walked closer. Kaido coughed violently, blood spilling.
"Cough… Did I… really lose?
It's like a nightmare…
But I can't wake up…"
Chiyu said evenly, "That's because your reality has ended."
Kaido gave a bitter smile.
"Chiyu… you've won. Guess this is it for me.
Pirate King… won't be me…
Then who?"
"There won't be a Pirate King," Chiyu replied.
"The future of this world will be decided by me."
"…No Pirate King? Maybe… that's not such a bad ending.
I once told King the one who defeats me might be Joy Boy. Looks like… that's you."
"I'm not interested in being Joy Boy," Chiyu said.
The others gathered—Queen, King, the Tobiroppo, the Headliners—staring in shock at the strongest creature alive lying defeated.
Kaido laughed.
"Not Pirate King, not Joy Boy—just yourself? You're right. We were too obsessed with prophecies and legends. You saw through it all and stayed true to yourself.
Maybe that's why you're so strong…"
Chiyu stayed silent.
Kaido closed his eyes, then asked, "One last drink?"
Chiyu didn't answer—so Kaido took it as yes.
He drank deep from his gourd—
then coughed violently, spitting out liquor and blood.
He smiled faintly. "Can't even drink now…
You're ruthless, Chiyu, but not hateful.
Victory to the victor, defeat to the defeated…
I… have a son—no… a daughter…"
The gourd slipped from his hand, spilling liquor across the ground.
One of the Four Emperors.
The Strongest Creature on Land, Sea, and Air.
The Governor-General of the Beast Pirates.
Kaido was dead.
Some of the Beast Pirates wept out of loyalty—most out of fear for their fate.
Chiyu looked at the massive corpse and shook his head.
In chaos, everyone walks their own path.
Kaido's death was inevitable. Even without Chiyu, it would've come.
Without their leader, the Beast Pirates were still standing, but their core was gone.
Queen and King locked eyes—no surrender.
"Chiyu! You killed Kaido-sama—we'll make you pay!"
Chiyu glanced at them. Both were battered from earlier battles.
Queen, the cyborg genius, had fought Zephyr to a standstill, his strange modifications matched by Zephyr's overwhelming strength, boosted further by the Explosive Rock.
King had fought both Boa Hancock and Trafalgar Law. His Lunarian body burned with flames that made him almost invincible—until the flames went out, making him faster but vulnerable. Hancock and Law exploited the opening, Law's powers striking, Hancock turning one arm to stone.
Elsewhere, the Tobiroppo clashed with Franky, Ain, Binz, Blade, Box, and Baby 5, with heavy casualties on both sides. The Headliners and Gifters fought their own bloody battles.
Hancock's Kuja Pirates brought powerful allies—her sisters Sandersonia and Marigold, Devil Fruit users with Haki mastery—alongside her officers. Law's Heart Pirates fought with Bepo, Shachi, Penguin, and Jean Bart.
Chiyu hadn't paid much attention until now, but both sides had suffered. The Beast Pirates, a chaotic mix, had lost far more.
Now Kaido was gone.
Facing Queen and King, Chiyu's voice stayed cold.
"You want revenge? Fine.
I'll allow it. But if you come at me, be ready to die."
Unlike the other Yonko crews bound by loyalty or family, the Beast Pirates lived by strength alone—never truly united.
Even so, those loyal enough to avenge Kaido stepped forward, surrounding Chiyu for one final, suicidal strike.
King, the most loyal of all, moved first.
"Omori Karyudon!!!"
Queen followed—"Brachio Bomber!"—
and the Tobiroppo—Black Maria, Page One, Ulti, Sasaki, Who's Who—launched their strongest attacks.
Chiyu answered with one swing.
The famed sword Shusui cut in a perfect circle, sword aura exploding outward like a storm, tearing everything apart.
The strike—
"God—Circular Slash!!!"
The combined attacks disintegrated instantly, the counterforce smashing into them instead.
One blow—
and they were crushed.
For all their strength, they weren't even close to matching a peak master like Chiyu.
In that moment—
the Beast Pirates finally knew the meaning of absolute…
Despair.
