Two massive figures, one like a devil, the other like a god, exploded out of the shattered prison block, towering over the battlefield in full view. Every guard and prisoner alike stopped dead in their tracks, stunned.
"Wh-what the hell…?!"
Panic erupted across Impel Down.
"It's the Chief Warden's Poisonous Giant Soldier!"
"This is bad—RUN!!"
Everyone knew: when Magellan used that move, it meant the fight was over. The thing was massive, oozing red-hot poison like a mountain of death. One touch—and it was over. There was no antidote.
Guards bolted.
If Magellan's beast looked like a demon from hell…
Then Chiyu's Raijin looked like divine wrath incarnate.
Even bigger. Majestic. Radiant. Crackling with power that felt too vast for this world—like a god ready to burn it all down and start fresh. He wasn't just lightning. He was lightning.
Unlike Enel's Raijin, Chiyu's Raijin had a unique form—a fusion of Susanoo and elemental thunder. A divine-demonic juggernaut.

Bolts exploded out in all directions, shredding the air. The shockwaves were so intense, people hundreds of meters away broke into a cold sweat. Poison rain poured down like hell itself had burst open—melting everything it touched.
Screams. Chaos. The entire Infinite Hell floor turned into a nightmare.
Magellan's eyes widened—his Poisonous Giant Soldier had been obliterated. Chiyu's power was relentless, limitless. The lightning tore through the poison like it was nothing.
The Colossus evaporated in a flash—gone.
And Chiyu's attack didn't stop. It kept coming, blasting straight toward Magellan's real body.
The warden tried to turn himself into liquid poison, but the thunder pierced through him anyway. He collapsed.
BOOM!
The Colossus was gone.
Magellan, crushed and defeated, hit the floor hard.
And Chiyu?
He descended like a god walking among mortals, standing over Magellan's broken body.
Magellan exhaled.
"You win."
"I've lost—completely."
"Uchiha Chiyu… you're even stronger than the stories say."
The entire prison shook from that declaration.
Shiryu of the Rain clenched his teeth.
"Magellan! What the hell are you doing? You're just going to roll over like that?!"
"Where's the man who beat me back then?!"
Magellan just laughed.
"Shiryu, I can't beat Chiyu. Neither can you.
I'm not surrendering—I just admitted I lost.
But I'm not letting him walk out of here either."
Everyone tensed.
"Wait… are you saying… you've still got something left?!"
Magellan, face pale but resolved, gave the order:
"Release the prisoners!"
From the deepest levels of Impel Down all the way up—cell doors opened.
Even the prison staff stared, speechless.
"Chief Warden, are you out of your mind?!"
"Those psychos aren't gonna fight Chiyu—they're just gonna bolt!"
Magellan coughed up a mouthful of blood… and grinned.
"Exactly. But Chiyu won't let them. I'm not betting on the criminals… I'm betting on him."
Silence.
Then realization hit them all—
Magellan's final move was to gamble on Chiyu's unwavering sense of justice. That he would never let these criminals escape. That he'd fight them all—even if it killed him.
Shiryu frowned.
"So you're banking on him fighting for us? Isn't that basically making him the prison's last line of defense?"
Magellan laughed.
"That's who he is. Right, Smoker?"
Smoker's face fell. Magellan had been testing him earlier, trying to understand Chiyu's mindset—and he'd gotten his answer.
"Chiyu… don't fall for this. This isn't your responsibility! You've got nothing to gain by fighting these monsters. Some of them might even be as strong as you!"
But Chiyu… smiled.
"Smoker, rescuing you was just part of the plan.
But it was never the real reason I came here.
I came… to wipe out every last criminal in this place."
"So Magellan—thanks for the opportunity."
Right then, an ocean of savage pirates burst out from their cells. They didn't fight. They ran.
Just as Magellan said—they were only thinking of escape.
And that's when Chiyu raised his arm—
"Ten-Thousand Thunderbolts!!"
KRA-KOOM!!
Lightning came crashing down from the heavens.
Wave after wave of electricity fried the fleeing prisoners. They hadn't even regained their full strength—and now they were screaming, smoking wrecks.
Chiyu's shadow clones charged the rest. The prison was instantly back in chaos.
Chiyu reached into Magellan's nearly-melted body and pulled out the seastone key. He tossed it to Blade.
Blade got the message and unlocked Smoker's cuffs.
Smoker took a deep breath—free again.
"Chiyu… thanks. You saved my life. From now on—even if we're marching into hell—I'm right there with you. Even if I die today, I won't have a single regret!"
Smoke exploded from him as he unleashed his powers, scattering the lingering poison. He charged the marine squads, snatching their seastone guns, and unloaded round after round into the escaping criminals—especially the Devil Fruit users, who couldn't resist seastone bullets.
They had no time to recover. They'd been locked up too long.
Not like Smoker—he was still in top form.
Thunder continued to rain.
Chiyu's lightning turned Infinite Hell into an electrified battlefield. His clones stormed upper levels, clashing with other freed convicts.
A strange scene played out:
Guards were releasing prisoners…
And Chiyu was killing them all.
Many marines just stood there, dumbfounded.
None of them stopped him.
Chiyu sneered.
"With everything you've done… do you really deserve to call yourselves justice?"
The guards looked away in shame.
Some joined the fight, helping take down the criminals.
The place became pure chaos.
Zephyr growled again:
"Chiyu! Time to go—we stay any longer, we'll die here! These guys just keep coming!"
Chiyu nodded.
But instead of retreating, he said:
"We'll hold the line at the gate. One man holds the pass, ten thousand can't pass through."
With Zephyr, Shuzo, Blade, Smoker, Baby 5, and all his clones, Chiyu charged toward the prison's main entrance.
Shiryu stopped fighting too. There was no way they'd ever cage him again—not now. Magellan was crippled, and no one could stop him.
He ran with the other escapees.
"Shiryu!" Magellan shouted. "You're really turning your back on Impel Down?! On the Navy?! The World Government?!"
"The moment you locked me up, I stopped being on your side," Shiryu said coldly.
Magellan watched helplessly.
"Chiyu… why didn't you kill me?!"
He screamed in pain, frustration, and despair.
But Chiyu didn't answer.
He just kept moving forward, leaving a battlefield behind soaked in blood and thunder.
Corpses everywhere. The floor drenched. Total devastation.
Magellan wept bitterly—broken, ashamed of his own weakness.
Sadi and others helped him up.
But he was done. He couldn't fight anymore.
"Warden! Are you okay?!"
"But wait… why didn't Chiyu finish you off if he's so ruthless?"
Magellan knew.
Just like he spared Hannyabal, Chiyu hadn't killed him because he wasn't evil—just a man doing his duty. But for Magellan, surviving out of enemy pity was humiliating beyond words.
Saldeath panicked.
"Warden, what if they escape? HQ will have our heads!"
"That gamble of yours was too risky—if they get out, the whole world goes up in flames!"
Magellan knew.
After a long pause, he gave the final order:
"Seal every level. Shut the gate. Not one prisoner gets out!"
"Yes, sir!"
The remaining guards scrambled to lock everything down.
Impel Down became a sealed tomb.

Meanwhile, Chiyu's team reached Level One.
And outside… a familiar voice rang out:
"Chiyu-sama! Captain Smoker!
Hurry—your escape path is ready!"
—It was Tashigi.
They stood at the exit.
And in front of them…
An army of bloodthirsty criminals blocked the way.
Zephyr narrowed his eyes.
"We can leave if we open that gate… But so can every last one of them. Chiyu, what's the move?"
