After regaining his health, Kim felt as if he had died during those three agonizing minutes. It felt like three years of unbearable pain.
Ragnar said to Kim, "This world depends on something called 'Advancement.' There are 30 types of Advancement. For example, the Assassin's Advancement, the Sorcerer's Advancement, and so on. Each Advancement is divided into nine levels, with 9 being the lowest and 1 being the highest. Advancement potions are made from monsters, like level 9 Advancement potions made from level 9 monsters, along with other ingredients such as flowers."
While Ragnar was talking, Kim was both amazed and scared.
Kim asked, "Ragnar, what happened to you? Why are you wounded like this?"
Ragnar replied calmly, "The book I gave you contains the power of the first hero in human history who reached Advancement level 1 and defeated the Ice Dragon, Jormungandr. But humanity lost a quarter of its population in that battle. This battle is said to have occurred before the First Era. We are now in the Fifth Era, so this battle happened about 6,000 years ago."
"It all started when the first Doom Stone fell," Ragnar continued. "Legend says it was blue and represented the Ice Dragon, Jormungandr. It was written on the stone that it would kill humans. People realized it referred to Jormungandr and started the First War. We don't know who sent this stone; it just fell from the sky suddenly, and no one could move or break it."
After hearing all this, Kim became wildly excited and wanted to advance his power far in this world.
