"Boss, we're here."
"Well, just drop us off here. Take a break from now on."
Damon and Harry got off the car at the village of Ottery St. Catchpole and walked south together.
After walking for a while, they saw a small lake. Next to the lake, there were crookedly "stacked" houses made of several floors. The structure of the house was disordered and completely inconsistent with architecture, as if it was built by magic.
There were four or five chimneys on the red roof, and a sign was inserted diagonally in front of the house, which read "The Burrow".
There were some high-top leather boots thrown by the gate, as well as a rusty crucible, and a few brown fat chickens were pecking in the yard
"It's a bit like Howl's Moving Castle."
Damon looked at the Burrow with its wild architectural style, and propped one hand on his forehead to block the dazzling sunlight
"It's really great." Harry said happily. He just remembered Privet Drive, and then he asked belatedly, "What is Howl's Moving Castle?"
"Nothing, an animation you haven't seen." Damon patted Harry's head, "Let's go, Mrs. Weasley is waiting for us in front.
He grew so tall that Harry looked like a younger brother beside him.
Mrs. Weasley walked quickly from the other end of the yard, and the chickens ran away. Surprisingly, she was such a fat, kind-looking woman, but she gave people the temperament of a tiger with sharp teeth
"Welcome, children."
"I hope our arrival will not cause you any trouble."
"How could it be! Silly boy.
"Damon! Harry!"
Ron came out from behind her and shouted excitedly to the two of them.
"Harry, why didn't you reply to my letter during the summer vacation."
"Uh-that's really a long story."
Mrs. Weasley took Damon's hand, and Harry and Ron followed them and chattered non-stop
When they arrived, it was just time for lunch-Mrs. Weasley was just halfway through her work
The kitchen was small and quite crowded. In the middle was a clean wooden table and a few chairs. Damon sat on the chair and looked at the real "magical scene" around him
The clock on the opposite wall had only one hand and no numbers. The clock face said "Make tea, feed the chickens, you're going to be late" and so on.
There were three layers of books on the mantel: "Enchanting Your Cheese", "The Magic of Baking Bread", "Conjuring a Feast", etc. - all magic books.
Mrs. Weasley hurried back to the kitchen to continue cooking. She used her wand to point at the dishes in the sink casually, and the dishes washed themselves. The tinkling sound was like a background music.
The Weasley brothers in the garden also ran over. They were very excited to see Damon and the others, and invited them to play Quidditch in the garden.
The garden was large, overgrown with weeds, surrounded by many tangled trees at the base of the wall, various plants growing out of each flower bed, and a large green pond with many frogs in it.
Damon saw small, rough-skinned, potato-like creatures with large bald heads running through the garden. "That's a goblin." As if noticing Damon's gaze, Ron grabbed a goblin by the ankle and held it upside down to show it to Damon
"Hey~~~"
Ron lifted the goblin above his head and swung his arms in a large circle like a lasso. As his hands loosened, the goblin flew twenty feet and landed on the ground behind the hedge with a plop.
"Bad," said Fred. "I promise I can throw it over that stump.
"It won't hurt them - you have to make them dizzy so they can't find the goblin hole." Ron winked at Harry, as if seeing Harry was a little shocked.
The few of them temporarily forgot about the Quidditch game and started to compete to see who could throw the goblin farther.
Soon the garden was full of goblins.
Damon laughed at their wild way of playing.
No one knew what he was laughing at.
He soon joined the game and gradually got the hang of it, throwing a goblin seventy feet away.
Harry felt some sympathy for the goblins, and decided to just toss the first one he caught over the hedge, but the goblin sensed his weakness and bit Harry's finger hard with its sharp teeth, and he couldn't shake it off, much to everyone's laughter.
Soon, the group of gnomes in the field walked away in a sparse line, shrugging their little shoulders.
"They will be back," Ron said as they watched the gnomes disappear behind the hedge at the end of the field, "They like it here. Dad is too tolerant of them. He thinks they are very interesting."
"Dinner is ready, children."
Following Mrs. Weasley's call, Damon and the others went back to eat temporarily.
At the dinner table, the Weasley brothers were still discussing Damon's record of seventy feet. Ron heard Harry say how badly he lived in the Dursleys' house, and then how Damon came down from the sky like a savior
"Oh my God - Damon, you have twenty factories?"
Ron couldn't help but exclaimed.
The Weasley twins' attention was also diverted by Ron's exclamation. They met each other's eyes, as if they saw each other's intentions.
"What do you mean? Is our dueling prince a nobleman in the Muggle world?"
"Don't ask about things you shouldn't ask about!"
Mrs. Weasley didn't know anything else. She only heard Ron say that Damon grew up in an orphanage, and of course she didn't want these children to talk about his life experience.
"I am indeed very rich in the Muggle world."
Damon didn't say much, just admitted it, and ate a simple meal with them.
The Weasley twins suddenly became more enthusiastic.
They took out many small gadgets and tried every way to show them to Damon - you see, they couldn't use these pranks directly on Damon, lest he get angry, so - they could only wrong Ron.
Fred "accidentally" knocked over Ron's cup, and the orange-yellow liquid condensed into the shape of a pumpkin head in the air and suddenly drilled into Ron's nostrils.
Ron sneezed ten times in a row, all of which were pumpkin-flavored, and the aroma of pumpkin filled the entire hall.
"This is our new invention, jumping pumpkin juice, what do you think?
"Not bad."m
Damon nodded, and Mrs. Weasley had already picked up the spatula and chased the twins angrily, "What are you doing while eating! I told you not to bring these tricks home again!
After dinner, they didn't stop. George "kindly" checked Ron's pet mouse for him, but in fact he fed Scabbers a rainbow jelly bean.
Three seconds later, Scabbers' gray fur exploded into fluorescent pink, and blue fire came out of the tip of his tail, scaring Scabbers so much that he kept squeaking. Ron held it in his arms with heartache
"Color-changing jelly beans, we can make any color you want. How do you feel?"
"Not bad." Damon replied as usual, "But I hope you don't mess with Ron anymore. Pranks on relatives should be based on what they can accept."
"Oh - of course -"
"You have the final say."
The Weasley twins felt the plan was blocked and temporarily stopped the action.
In the afternoon, they called Percy, and the six of them played a 3V3 mini Quidditch game.
"Do you want to team up with us? Although they have Harry in their group, little Ron's strength is not good enough."
The twins invited Damon, and Ron said fiercely, "Really? Then let's take a good look!"
"I'll team up with them, thank you."
Damon smiled and rejected the three people, and fought against Percy and the Weasley twins with Harry and Ron.
Soon, as a beater, he used the Bludger to knock down all three seniors without hesitation. Harry and Ron cheered, but they were also a little surprised. It seemed that Damon would definitely join the school's Quidditch team in the second grade
When they had some time to rest, the twins approached Damon and told him about their plans.
"You want to open your own store?"
