Nick finally decided to confess.
Before he could, Haruka arrived with enough evidence to bring him in. But he didn't resist.
He went to Mina first.
"I killed him. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry."
Tears fell from her eyes. "He loved you. That's what hurts the most."
Nick was arrested. Haruka treated him with dignity.
Jay watched the patrol car drive away.
