"Alex Elliott, I want to meet you. I have something important to discuss face-to-face."
Alex read the message on his phone, fully aware of why Sylvia Byrne wanted to see him. However, he didn't feel as happy as he thought he would. Instead, he felt a bit annoyed.
Ever since his heated argument with Daisy Sanchez over the phone, they hadn't seen each other. Yet, Daisy's face kept popping into his mind, which frustrated him. He figured it was because of all the terrible things Daisy had done and how she had deceived him for so long. That's why he couldn't stop thinking about her.
Daisy hadn't been to work for a while now, probably hiding at home, too scared to step outside.
Alex took a few deep breaths to calm himself before replying to Crystal Foster's message.
"Alright, I'll come to your office at 3 PM today."
