After Daisy Sanchez left, Martin Riley remained seated on the couch, lost in thought. He couldn't believe how things had turned out.
"Sir, there's a document that needs your signature," Henry said as he walked in with a folder, noticing Martin's dazed expression. "Is everything okay?"
"I need to go out for a bit. Please reschedule the company's afternoon meeting to tomorrow morning," Martin replied. He was eager to see Crystal Foster and share what he'd just learned.
When he rushed into Crystal's office, she was still contemplating how to bring up the matter with him. Seeing his anxious expression, she thought something urgent had happened.
"I know about Sylvia Byrne's childhood trauma," Martin blurted out.
Fourteen years ago, Sylvia and Daisy were just kids. One day, they went out to play with Alex Elliott. Unfortunately, Daisy and Sylvia were kidnapped by traffickers. Alex had gone to get them water and narrowly escaped.
