Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Difficult Situation

A few meters from entering the Elvareth Forest, there were three figures standing on the damp grass at the feet of each of them, while the wind made the hair of Nulambart and Aggi flutter, who looked at the enemy in front of them.

What they saw was a demi-human with the face of a fish and the limbs of a human being, but with a somewhat greenish color to his skin, he was covered with light armor that looked more like a blanket that covered his entire body.

Seeing his appearance, Nulambart remembered the speed at which he had appeared before him previously, as well as his ability to hide and not be perceived now before two martial cultivators, and also when he was with his teacher previously.

"It is surely a type of cultivator specialized in assassination or stealth, be careful Aggi, it is our enemy," Nulambart said warning Aggi.

"I feel that he is stronger than even my father, Nulambart, I am afraid that we will have to flee as quickly as possible," replied Aggi, who could sense that something was not right with the demi-human in front of them.

Nulambart nodded his head slightly, and then remembered Mayor George's words of warning to him earlier.

"The guard has a minimum cultivation level of avatar realm level 5, and may even be higher," Nulambart warned.

"I have the natural primal path cultivation realm like you, but at level 10 half a step away from entering the profound primal path, we are still far from your cultivation level, but we have no choice but to fight," said Aggi, who took out as his main weapon a mysterious whip that he had never seen used in our village and prepared to fight.

Nulambart grabbed the knife that had surprisingly held up until now, but didn't have much durability left due to the bruises it had. Seeing Nulambart's knife, Aggi rolled his eyes for a few moments, but then focused his attention on the enemy waiting quietly in front of us.

Then with a look between the two, they decided to start attacking together, so they ran towards the guard, Aggi on the right and Nulambart on the left.

"Hahaha, I don't know what dirty tricks you used to let me sleep, but right now I will take my revenge for that... I will leave the girl as a slave like those in your village and I will kill you slowly, dirty boy," said the guard calmly, who saw both attacks coming from his sides.

Aggi stretched out his arm and the whip that was originally a meter and a half long transformed into a large 5 meter whip that sought to hit and contain the guard before Nulambart could attack.

Aggi gave off a greenish aura that was stronger compared to Nulambart, and said aura also spread across the whip, so the weapon actually seemed extremely dangerous to face.

Nulambart, seeing this attack from Aggi, understood that it was impossible to defeat the girl who luckily was his partner, and only with the use of temporal divergence could he try to find an opening.

However, when that whip was about to come into contact with the guard, the demi-human dodged the attack extremely quickly, leaving behind a surprised Nulambart.

Oh no damn, it's much faster than the Quasi-spiritual beast. Nulambart couldn't help but compare the speed between the enemies he had faced, and without a doubt this guard was incomparable to the beast he had worked so hard to defeat previously.

Then, even before Nulambart could turn around to defend himself, the guard kicked Nulambart in the right side, and Nulambart was barely able to react in time to place his only functional arm.

Crack

"Ahhh!!," Nulambart shouted, feeling his wrist bend in an unnatural direction, hearing it break in a terrible way.

Nulambart received the half-human guard's kick squarely in his hand, so the force of the impact left his wrist unusable, as well as sending him flying 10 meters before falling into the stream.

Nulambart only felt an extremely annoying pain in his only usable hand, and then felt the cold throughout his body as he sank into the water of the stream.

Nulambart's consciousness trembled and his vision increasingly faded. He could only hear the calm sound of water that reminded him of the moment of meditation, since it radiated tranquility, but with an impressive solitude.

I'm going to faint, thought Nulambart, who forgot everything that happened in the battle, as he was in the water, losing consciousness, then he simply stopped seeing the light that entered the stream and only saw darkness when he closed his eyes and fell unconscious.

"Nulambartttt," shouted Aggi in reaction, who still surprised by the guard's quick action, retracted her whip and ran towards Nulambart.

However, just before advancing a few meters, the guard appeared in front of her and without giving her time to defend herself, he kicked her similar to the previous one.

"Hahaha, you can't defend yourself and you want to help that dirty bastard," the guard said in a grim manner, when he was delivering the attack.

Just before the guard's attack could hit, he could see how the power of Aggi's soul stopped enveloping his body, spreading all the power he had in his whip and he extremely quickly wrapped himself around Aggi's body to defend himself from the guard's kick.

What a annoying whip, thought the guard who sent Aggi's body flying in the same direction in which Nulambart was found sunk in the stream.

That girl is clever, she used my attack to propel herself there, but I don't think she came out unscathed. The guard thought as he saw how Aggi, still wrapped around her whip, fell into the stream in the same direction as Nulambart.

In the stream, Aggi undid her feint with her whip, and could see how, a few meters away from her, Nulambart was floating up the stream, unconscious and with her wrist unusable.

Then, he took Nulambart into the water, and circulated his soul energy into his whip, which took a shape similar to that of a beak, which at its tip concentrated Aggi's soul power, under which he penetrated the ground under the stream before the water could enter the space he had made there, Aggi once used his whip to cover the entrance to the small cave he had created.

Once there, she put Nulambart inside her, while she used some bandages that she brought with her to bandage Nulambart's wrist, but not before adjusting it to its original place. He then proceeded to try to wake Nulambart.

"Wake up Nulambart, we have to run away from that stupid guy with a horrible face," Aggi said to Nulambart, while lightly hitting him in the face.

In Nulambart's dreams.

Nulambart saw the scenes of when his father was training his sister outside their house, where at the age of 8 he looked out from the window with great surprise and pride at watching his sister Elena's training.

He also saw his mother in the house, waiting for Nulambart at the table in the center of the house, with a really big stack of books waiting for the boy.

"Son, you will also have your time to train that way, but now you have to learn about the world around you," said Saya who with her glasses on, Nulambart remembered being bored of doing that.

Nulambart then proceeded to study for several hours with his mother, until the sun went down and the weather became colder in his room.

"Well my son, that's all for today, I hope you liked how mom explains to you about the politics and history of our country today." his mother finished saying before getting up and going to call Axel and Elena, who were still continuing to train.

"Well, I have been able to endure several hours of this class, it is not the most fun of all, only because my dear and funny mother has helped me," answered Nulambart clearly, who said remotely to his mother Saya.

His mother smiled as she welcomed the exhausted Axel and Elena at the entrance of the house, and then told them.

"Go immediately and take a shower, both of you, you both stink horribly… go first Elena," the mother said solemnly, putting her hands on her nose.

"Hahaha, honey, it's simply the smell of the efforts of your brave husband, Axel Souls himself… Ah… Auuuchh," replied Axel, who couldn't continue with his sentence while making a fool of himself, because Saya had his ear grabbed.

"Don't try too hard, stupid husband, remember that you have the se… Hmmp… You have to be more careful, honey," said his mother, whom Nulambart noticed somewhat nervous between her sentences.

Then Axel seemed to understand Saya's mother, and then he took her hand and led her to her room, telling Nulambart to wait at her post.

However, Nulambart curiously followed them to his parents' room, and could hear the following.

"Saya, I think it's time for Nulambart to be aware of our seals, since Elena already knows about it since she was the same age," Nulambart's father said with a somewhat impatient face.

"Impossible, we decided to tell Saya when she became a martial cultivator, so we will do the same with Nulambart," her mother stated solemnly.

Nulambart could tell that what his parents were talking about was something of extreme importance, but then he forgot it over the years.

Then, within his dream, he could hear someone calling him in the distance.

"Nulambart, come to your senses, we have to flee"

"Nulambart, I can feel the guard looking for us.."

"Nulambart…"

After hearing that voice several times, Nulambart was able to remember that it was the voice of the girl he had met a few minutes ago, and who had seen him naked. That extremely honest girl who needed his help was indeed Aggi.

Of course, I fainted earlier with the blow and fell into the water. Nulambart was able to turn on his consciousness and feel his own, causing him to want to touch his wrist.

Then he stopped dreaming, and opened his eyes to see a very nervous Aggi who was hitting him harder and harder in the face.

"Ouch… That hurts Aggi, but thanks for waking me up," Nulambart said with a smile to Aggi, who upon hearing that, his previously trembling eyes were able to calm down and his hands stopped hitting Nulambart.

"Welcome mate, we don't have much time, so I'll tell you what's going on," Aggi said solemnly.

Then Aggi reviewed everything that had happened since he ended up fainting, until they were in the small cave under the stream, as well as the imminent arrival of the guard who was looking for them.

"We have to come up with a plan to escape, since we can't escape… Plus you have both hands useless," Aggi continued, pointing to the right wrist of Nulambart, who had a bandage on his wrist.

Nulambart agreed to Ana's proposal, so they first decided to share the extent of their abilities to know what they could do.

Aggi started first, who pointed out that he used the force of his soul to protect his body in a defensive manner, how he also incorporated it into his whip to produce different forms of attack and defense in the whip.

She was a versatile short-distance fighter, who worked with the whip because her entire tribe had a bloodline that allowed her to manipulate soul power to interact with the particles of energy in the environment and create objects. She was a creator-type cultivator, but she could not yet manifest her whip derived from her soul, so she used a physical whip inherited from her family to train cultivators who had not reached the realm of the incipient avatar, where it began to manifest. the whip in relatively functional form.

Then Nulambart understood what kind of fighting style Aggi used, since his mother had previously explained to him the types of cultivators he could encounter in the future.

However, without time to explain all the other types, Nulambart explained to Aggi that until now he had no knowledge of what type of cultivator he was, and simply pointed out that he had a winning move that he could use for a period of 1 second to defeat his opponents, Temporal Divergence, but that he did not know how to apply it in this case where he simply could not defeat his opponent in 1 second.

Listening to Nulambart's explanation, Aggi seemed to understand certain things, raising his eyebrows and putting a hand on his jaw in an undisguised manner, everything indicating that he was seriously thinking about the use that could be given to the entire set of skills they have at their disposal.

However, when he was in the middle of planning, he suddenly looked at Nulambart's hand and said:

"If you can't do anything with that hand it's impossible for us to do anything," Aggi ended up saying, pointing directly at my right hand with the bandaged wrist.

"If only you could get hold of that knife somehow…" Aggi said softly, her hands trembling and her legs moving so much that she seemed extremely nervous from one moment to the next.

It's really funny, Nulambart couldn't help but think when he saw how exaggerated the young woman's movements were, particularly her face when she had her mouth moving from one side to the other.

"Wait... That's it... I'll use my mouth to hold the knife... Tell me what I have to do Aggi," Nulambart suddenly said, who pointed with his eyes at the knife that he still had in his clothes.

Aggi then opened his eyes and looked up at the sky, and almost as if he had found a way to become immortal, he showed a joy that also contained a lot of anticipation.

"Well, then we will do it in the following way," said Aggi, who in the next moment told the whole plan to Nulambart. The entire conversation took place in less than 5 minutes.

Out of the stream.

The guard was intensely searching for the 2 young men who he had sworn were in the same place he had sent them flying to.

"It's not possible that they both escaped by swimming towards the forest, right?" said the guard, who had a soul ability that allowed him to scan the surroundings accurately, since he was an explorer of the Stella Kingdom under the Prince's guard.

Under his feet, he had boots that reached to his knees, which allowed him to increase his movement speed. These boots had a green aura like his body, and had colored runes that made him look imposing.

The reason was that this guard was a creator-type cultivator, like Aggi, but being in the realm of the spiritual avatar, he could now manifest the creation that was linked to his own soul, that object that would accompany him throughout his life.

Suddenly, within the stream, Nulambart and Aggi emerge with a 3-meter jet of water, who was holding Nulambart with one arm and his left shoulder.

"They're here damned, hahaha, it's really great that they didn't escape," said the guard, who subsequently ran with the help of his soul object towards them.

Upon feeling the speed of the guard, who was exponentially faster than before, the eyes of both boys widened, because they did not expect this ability of the guard in their plans at all.

"Shit, we are defenseless in the air…", Aggi, could not finish saying what he wanted, when the guard arrived with an imposing aura covering his entire body, and with his green boots and colored runes. The guard finished by impacting the young people, sending them flying 20 meters before they fell heavily to the ground.

Nulambart and Aggi felt the taste of iron in their mouths, when they felt an unbearable pain in their chests, since the blow had hit their chest squarely.

They each vomited a mouthful of blood, but stood up again, this is because Aggi had used his whip to create a defense that would allow some resistance to the impact of the kick.

"Shit, he is a creator-type cultivator… Those boots increase that bastard's speed a lot… Nulambart was not in our plans," said Aggi, looking at the boots impregnated with a greenish aura and the runes of different colors that were embedded in them, as well as looking at the body of the guard.

Without a doubt, despite all their plans, they both knew that they were in a difficult situation.
