"Extreme North…"
The Snow Empress floated in the air, breathing in the familiar, icy atmosphere of the Extreme North. Her mind wandered slightly as she murmured softly, savoring the cold that seemed to resonate with her very soul.
After a brief moment of nostalgia, the Snow Empress turned toward Huo Yuhao. Her face became serious as she spoke:
"Yuhao, since I have promised to walk with you toward the divine path, I will not hold anything back. You are someone I trust completely, as does Bingbing. Now, I must ask: do you have the courage to bear the heavy burden I'm about to place on your shoulders?"
Huo Yuhao met her gaze seriously. He knew exactly what burden she was referring to.
"There's no problem, Snow Empress. I can bear it."
The Snow Empress gazed at him with admiration. Though young, Huo Yuhao's determination was clear. She nodded slightly, then turned away again, closing her eyes in concentration. In an instant, a terrifying, overwhelming aura erupted around her—a presence that seemed to dominate the very ice and snow of the world, sweeping everything in its path.
Huo Yuhao stood still, feeling the force of the Snow Empress's 700,000-year soul beast aura. His expression grew solemn.
"Xue'er," the Ice Empress murmured, "What if we were still the rulers here? This land is our paradise, untouched by enemies, and none can challenge us. But now, with Yuhao, we have an even greater choice."
She watched as the Snow Empress floated upward, her body moving like a ghost through the howling winds of the Extreme North. Ice Empress's eyes grew distant, lost in thoughts of a distant past. The Snow Empress's presence, as she danced against the swirling winds, was otherworldly, majestic.
Her elegant movements seemed to command the very air itself, as her long sleeves twirled in the wind, sending ribbons of white snow swirling around her. The air shimmered with blue snowflakes, which danced and circled her in an almost hypnotic pattern.
At that moment, the Snow Empress appeared as a snow elf, her dance making her the very core of the Extreme North. Her graceful motions were so powerful that it felt as if she had become the center of the entire ice world. It was a sight beyond compare.
Huo Yuhao stood motionless, his eyes wide with awe. He had never imagined a dance could be so beautiful, so captivating.
The Snow Empress, already a breathtaking beauty, seemed to have fully immersed herself in the dance. The surrounding winds softened, and the snowflakes, as they twirled, seemed to warm the air just a little. There was no heat, but there was no cold either—just a pure, refreshing chill.
The entire space around her began to turn blue, spreading out further and further until, in every direction Huo Yuhao could see, the world appeared to have transformed into a vast blue expanse. The sky and ground seemed to merge, indistinguishable from one another.
It was as if the entire world had become her domain, and Huo Yuhao, for that moment, felt like he was seeing the most beautiful scene in existence. His heart swelled with emotion as he absorbed the sight. His ice-type soul power surged within him, resonating with the Snow Empress's movements.
The Ice Snow Empress Dance was a manifestation of her elemental purity. The Snow Empress was a unique being, formed from the purest ice energy of the Extreme North's core. After millennia of nurturing, she had evolved into an intelligent, sentient being, becoming the queen of all ice-type creatures.
She was the daughter of this vast icy expanse, and the very essence of the Extreme North was embodied in her.
Huo Yuhao could feel himself slowly entering a state of enlightenment as he watched her dance, though he couldn't yet understand what he was learning. Perhaps, this dance itself was his most unique experience.
Meng Hongchen and the Auspicious Beast stood beside him, equally entranced. Both of them were just as captivated by the dance. The Snow Empress truly was an ice elf, a creature born from the very essence of snow and ice.
"This is the ice and snow sovereign of my soul beast kind," the Auspicious Beast murmured, her voice filled with genuine respect and awe as she watched the Snow Empress's dance.
For the Auspicious Beast, once the emperor of the Star Dou Forest, this display was nothing short of humbling. It made her feel an odd affection for the Extreme North, and even the atmosphere began to shift under her influence. Slowly, the energy from the land itself began to gather around her.
The Snow Empress danced for nearly half an hour before she slowly descended, returning to Huo Yuhao's side.
Her expression was calm, but Huo Yuhao could feel the deep joy and satisfaction in her heart. Yes, the Snow Empress had returned home, and it was only natural that she should feel such happiness.
At that moment, Huo Yuhao suddenly sensed a vast life force approaching from the distance. These life forces moved at an astonishing speed, rapidly closing in on their position.
He expanded his spiritual perception, reaching out to assess the situation.
"What… is this?" His pupils contracted, and a look of shock flashed across his face.
The core area of the Extreme North had been a vast, empty land of snow, with no signs of life. Yet now, within the range of his spiritual perception, he clearly saw thousands upon thousands of soul beasts gathering toward them.
There were all types of soul beasts—many of them he had never seen before. Some were familiar, like the ice bears he had encountered, while others were entirely new. Every soul beast seemed to be in a frenzy, rushing toward them at incredible speeds.
After a brief moment of shock, Huo Yuhao quickly regained his composure. To gather such a vast number of soul beasts in the Extreme North, only the Snow Empress could pull this off. Even Ice Empress, powerful as she was, would have trouble matching her in this regard.
The Snow Empress, ranked third among the ten most powerful soul beasts, was the true ruler of the Extreme North. With 700,000 years of cultivation, her dominance over the land was unparalleled.
Among the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts, only the top three had the power to control vast territories. The Beast God, Di Tian, ruled the core of the continent—the Star Dou Forest. The Tyrant Eye Tyrant controlled the Demon Forest, rich in soul beasts. But in terms of sheer dominion, the Snow Empress reigned supreme.
In the endless, frozen plains of the Extreme North, all soul beasts obeyed her. She was the queen, the supreme ruler of this vast, icy land.
Neither the Beast God nor the Tyrant Eye Tyrant had ever dared to challenge her authority. The environment of the Extreme North was too harsh, and even they didn't believe they could defeat the Snow Empress. No other land's soul beasts could unite with the same strength and focus as the ones under her command.
The distant horde of soul beasts was getting closer. Ice Empress's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"They're back. They've returned to the world they rule."
The scene of thousands of beasts racing across the frozen plains was rare and awe-inspiring.
