Minato suddenly turned his head toward the baby cradled in Kaito's arms.
But when he got closer, the baby wrinkled her tiny face in displeasure and snuggled deeper into Kaito's embrace, clearly preferring him.
Kaito chuckled at the sight, glancing at the few tufts of blond hair on her head.
"Minato, your genes are really something. Two kids, both with blond hair."
"Haha, of course!"
Naruto squeezed through the crowd and ran to Kaito's side, his eyes sparkling with curiosity as he looked at his little sister. He poked her chubby cheek with a finger.
Kaito smiled.
"Alright, now's a good time to give her a name."
At the mention of naming, Minato perked up immediately.
"Of course! Since she's a girl, how about—"
"Minato!" Kushina quickly cut him off, exasperated. "I already told you, you don't need to handle the naming part!"
She turned to Kaito and said warmly,
"Kaito, since you helped deliver her, why don't you name her?"
Kaito froze for a moment. Naming wasn't exactly his specialty. After a brief pause, he said,
"How about Hoshina?"
"Hoshina… Uzumaki Hoshina? Sounds lovely! What do you think, Minato?"
Minato didn't dare object. And honestly, the name Uzumaki Hoshina did sound nice, so he nodded right away.
He didn't really care whether the child carried the Namikaze or Uzumaki surname—so long as Kushina was happy.
Hoshina giggled in Kaito's arms, clearly delighted by her new name.
After playing with her for a while, Kaito finally handed Hoshina back to Kushina and left the family to enjoy their moment together.
...
Back home, Kaito's eyes lingered on Kaguya's slightly rounded belly, a spark of anticipation flickering in his gaze.
But there was no rushing this. With his Rinne Tenseigan, he could tell that their child was still far from being fully formed—it would take some time before her birth.
Kaguya noticed his gaze and softly called, "Master."
Kaito smiled faintly. Sitting beside her, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and Kaguya gently rested her head on him.
When Yamato returned, Kaito was just stepping out of the room, loosely dressed.
Yamato wasn't the clueless girl she used to be. The moment she saw Kaito's appearance, she instantly understood what had happened while she was away.
Her cheeks flushed a deep pink, and her eyes darted shyly toward the open front of his robe.
Kaito ignored her, picked up a cup of water from the table, drained it in one go, and said calmly,
"Had your fun? We should head back now."
"Eh? Sensei, you mean back to Marineford?"
"Yeah. I'll take you there first, then I'll be heading out again."
"Where's Sensei going this time? Can't I come with you?"
Kaito shook his head. When he said "heading out," he meant traveling to another dimension—but this time, he didn't have fixed coordinates. It would be entirely random.
He had nothing urgent going on right now, so wandering between worlds might even bring unexpected gains.
But since it was random, he couldn't take anyone along. If he landed in a dangerous world, things could get messy fast.
Better to explore first, then bring others once he confirmed the world's safety.
Yamato didn't insist. She nodded obediently and said softly,
"Then please come back soon, Sensei. I'll miss you!"
Her words were straightforward, and she met his eyes without backing down.
Suddenly, Black Zetsu emerged behind her and gave her a hard shove—sending her right into Kaito's chest.
Given their height difference, the push made Yamato stumble straight into him, her arms wrapping around him as his head pressed into her chest.
Black Zetsu chuckled mischievously, then slipped back underground—his mission of "assist and vanish" perfectly executed.
Yamato didn't waste the opportunity. She tightened her hold around Kaito and refused to let go.
Kaito didn't resist either. He wrapped an arm around her waist and said softly,
"Alright, I get it. How could I ever forget my one and only student?"
"Mm..."
...
The next day, Kaito took Yamato back to the Pirate World.
After giving some instructions to Kalifa and the others in the palace, Kaito opened a dimensional gate—ready to step into a new world.
This time, Kalifa and the rest handled it much better than before. At least, it wasn't nearly as emotional or tearful.
...
Stepping through the dimensional portal, Kaito found himself in a bustling modern city.
If not for the flying vehicles and strange technology everywhere, he might have thought he'd somehow returned to the original Blue Star.
Then he spotted a sign: Capsule Corporation.
Only then did he realize—he'd entered the Dragon Ball world.
(T/N: I don't know this world of anime, there may be many mistakes.)
After confirming where he was, Kaito casually grabbed a passerby and used the Human Path to read his memories.
From the man's memories, Kaito learned that it had been five years since the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament—the one where young Piccolo first appeared.
That meant the Dragon Ball world was about to reach a major turning point: Raditz, the Saiyan, was coming to Earth soon. From there, power levels in this world would start skyrocketing exponentially.
Returning the man's soul, Kaito made sure he was unharmed, then left the city behind.
Landing atop a mountain, he began to think.
He wasn't entirely sure how his own strength compared in this world, but judging from what he knew, as the new Ōtsutsuki God, crushing someone like Raditz—whose Power Level was only about 1,500—should be no problem.
You couldn't compare Kaito to ordinary shinobi or pirates anymore. Ever since he had fully absorbed the God Tree Fruit, no one in either the Naruto or One Piece worlds could even survive a single move from him. Even Kaito himself didn't know how strong he had become.
Comparing himself to Raditz might actually underestimate him. With his wide array of abilities, at this point in time, probably only Frieza could give him any trouble.
And if it came to blowing up planets—Kaito could easily do that too, and in several creative ways at that.
The most broken thing about him, though, was his immortality. He could transform into a pure energy form—death was almost meaningless to him.
And if he ever did encounter someone too powerful to fight head-on, he could simply use his spatial abilities to retreat at any time.
With that in mind, Kaito had a clear plan now.
All he had to do was wait for Raditz to arrive—then use his scouter to roughly gauge his own Power Level.
After all, at this early stage, that device was still a pretty handy way to get a sense of strength.
