In his Asura form, Kaito floated silently above, staring down at the bottomless black void beneath him.
He wasn't naïve enough to think that single punch had taken care of Weevil—the man rumored to possess the same strength Whitebeard had in his prime.
Sure enough, before long, two shadows—one large, one small—shot out of the abyss. As seawater rushed in to fill the void, the deep pit was quickly restored to its original oceanic form.
Weevil's blade was nowhere to be seen. In one hand, he held a massive Sea King, eyes rolled back in unconsciousness. As he surfaced, he tossed the beast away and used it as a stepping stone, balancing himself on it while frantically scanning his surroundings.
"Where's my mom!?"
Kaito raised a brow. Damn, what a mama's boy. He offered a helpful hint.
"Maybe you swallowed her."
"What?! Ptuh! Ptuh! Ptuh!"
Weevil's limited brainpower kicked in. He immediately opened his mouth and started spitting like mad, trying to vomit Miss Buckin out.
Kaito stared blankly for a second, a bit speechless. Then he clarified.
"Don't bother. She's gone."
Weevil froze mid-spit. Then he snapped his head up to glare at Kaito, grinding his teeth.
"It was you... YOU killed my mom! I'LL KILL YOU!!!"
As he roared, Weevil's body began to swell. Muscles bulged and surged out from beneath layers of fat, rapidly transforming him from a lard mountain into a hulking mass of muscle. His height now reached Kaito's chest level.
With this transformation, Weevil's brain seemed to upgrade too. Even his voice sounded deeper.
"Die!"
With a crouch and sudden burst of power, he launched himself into the air like a cannonball, rocketing straight at Kaito. The Sea King beneath him burst open into a bloody crater from the sheer force of his leap.
BOOM!
Kaito didn't dare take the hit head-on. He braced himself, all six arms flaring with strength to intercept Weevil's furious strike.
The force from Weevil's blow reverberated through Kaito's palms, making him struggle even in Asura mode.
No wonder this guy managed to beat Zephyr so badly. Sure, Zephyr wasn't on par with the current three Admirals anymore, but he had been an Admiral once.
Still, Weevil couldn't fly. Without aerial mobility, his power would quickly fade. And when that happened, the skies would belong to Kaito.
But what happened next made Kaito's expression shift.
Weevil's stubby legs suddenly kicked into motion, rapidly tapping through the air with pupupupu sounds.
Geppo.
Weevil grinned eerily and looked Kaito dead in the eye.
"Surprised? That guy called Zephyr used this move earlier. Lucky me—I already picked it up!"
With that, he used the momentum from Geppo to hurl himself forward, muscles bulging in both arms. With a thunderous shout, he slammed his fists into Kaito, sending him plummeting from the sky into the ocean below, waves exploding high into the air.
Watching Kaito crash into the sea, Weevil grinned and immediately dove in after him.

Underwater, Kaito activated Almighty Push, forming a spherical vacuum to shield himself. But as Weevil charged in, he smashed a punch straight into the vacuum wall. The sphere trembled violently.
Kaito quickly formed hand seals.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
The seawater around him surged, forming two massive water dragons that spiraled toward Weevil.
"The hell is that!?"
Weevil lashed out, punching one of the dragons to bits. But the second smashed into him full force, sending him tumbling through the water.
Kaito seized the opportunity. Golden light flared from the sublimated Armament Haki on all six of his arms, and he struck at Weevil mid-spin.
"Asura's Wrath!"
All six fists converged at a single point in a rapid, furious barrage. Explosive water booms filled the area as the sheer force vaporized the surrounding seawater. A temporary vacuum zone appeared in the ocean.
When the assault ended, steam curled up from Kaito's fists. The golden glow of his Armament had dimmed.
Weevil, who had barely shown a scratch during the entire fight, was now leaking blood from multiple wounds. The water around him turned red. From Kaito's view, it looked like a floating sphere of blood.
After drifting in place for a moment, Weevil's trembling body suddenly snapped upright.
He looked like he'd regained some strength.
Kaito's expression darkened.
"This guy's recovery is insane... Don't tell me he's a cyborg?"
His suspicion wasn't baseless. Weevil had visible stitch marks on his neck and wrists. The one circling his neck looked like it had been reattached post-decapitation.
Weevil shook his head and looked up.
"You're strong. Almost killed me just now."
Kaito said nothing and lunged in again.

A peaceful patch of sea suddenly erupted as two giants exploded from the water—Kaito and Weevil.
Both were wounded and breathing heavily.
Their fight had been nothing short of an all-out slugfest. At this point, neither had much stamina left.
Kaito landed on the ocean surface, stabilizing his breathing. His Rinnegan glowed with violet light.
He brought his six hands together, two by two, forming three diamond shapes in the air.
Weevil tilted his head, confused by the strange pose. He shook the water off and prepared to strike again.
But Kaito had finished the jutsu.
He slowly pulled apart each pair of hands. Between them, three tiny black orbs floated into view.
Reaching forward with his back arms, Kaito merged two of the black orbs with the one from his front hands.
Now a single, pitch-black sphere hovered in his palm—larger, darker, more compact.
Kaito raised his hand, and let go.
The black sphere drifted upward into the sky.
Weevil stared blankly as it ascended. A sense of dread welled up from deep inside him.
Panicked, he coated his right hand in Armament Haki and kicked off with Geppo, aiming to smash the ominous orb before it could do anything.
But—clap—Kaito brought his hands together again and growled,
"Planetary Devastation!"
Vmmm! An overwhelming gravitational force erupted from the orb.
Weevil flailed, trying to stop himself, but his body was already being dragged toward it.
Debris from sunken warships ripped out of the ocean and slammed into Weevil's body, forming a giant metallic mass around him.
Then, the ocean itself surged upward.
Seawater blotted out the sky as it spiraled toward the orb, compressing and compacting until it formed a titanic sphere—a kilometer in diameter.
The sky darkened.
Inside the massive water sphere, huge Sea Kings floated lifelessly, their bodies crushed by pressure.
Below, the sea surface had dipped into a basin-like depression, even exposing soil at the center. The entire region looked like an apocalyptic marine crater.
Kaito narrowed his eyes. He could sense a faint tremble in the center of the water sphere.
So Weevil was still alive... barely.
Kaito's body radiated with golden brilliance, his form expanding once more—reaching a towering fifty meters.
Behind him, his four extra arms clicked and twisted, transforming into four massive cannons.
The power of the Asura Path.
He raised them toward the sky.
From each barrel, blinding light pulsed as terrifying energy gathered, condensing into four glowing sky-blue spheres.
"Asura's Strike!"
The cannons fired simultaneously. Four energy beams merged into one massive blast, shooting straight through the center of the colossal water sphere.
BOOOOM!
A deafening explosion rang out.
The Planetary Devastation orb shattered, and the gargantuan water sphere collapsed.
Seawater plummeted back down in waterfalls, crashing into the ocean below.
From above, a bloated figure tumbled downward at terrifying speed—Weevil.
There wasn't a single patch of intact flesh left on him. His body was soaked in blood.
And he wasn't breathing.
He was dead. Completely and utterly dead.
