Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2

The RV hums beneath me, tires rolling over the smooth, empty road that splits the forest in two. On either side, endless trees—tall, dark pines—reach toward the sky, blotting out what's left of the daylight. I keep one hand on the wheel, eyes locked ahead. No signposts, no traffic, just the hum of the engine and the occasional crunch of gravel beneath the tires.

take a deep breath, steadying my thoughts. There's a lot to unpack, but sitting around trying to figure it all out isn't going to help. I'm here now—wherever here is—and I need to keep moving.

The first stop is Jump City. It's the closest one to where I am, and it'll let me know for sure if this really is the DC world. Imagine pulling up to the coast and seeing Titans Tower on the horizon—holy crap. If it's there, that's confirmation. A thrill runs down my spine at the thought. Meeting the Titans, maybe even spotting Robin or Raven... man, that's going to be wild.

Before driving off with the RV I try to turn to greymatter. I never could imagine the brain power that species have. They are so amazing. I was able to look at the world with such a different perspective. Anywhere I look in the RV I think of improvements that I could make to it but that's not why I turn to it. Not the whole plan but it does have something with the RV.

With greymatter brain I easily plan on buying some tech and tools that I could use to improve and build new things. I also need a new 'private' computer that is totally private and trackable that is a must while scouring the internet in this kind of universe. I also need a server and maybe a mobile lab. I could turn the RV into it. For the server i was thinking of making an online game to pay for the trip i do have some money in this world but i don't think it will be enough for all the thing that i was planning to buy or build

A green sign can be seen in front of me Jump City 1 km it said. The small smile now widen to a huge grin

The road twists ahead, and I push the RV a little faster. The upgrades fixes that I did earlier are running smooth—no weird rattles, no sluggishness. It's all running better than ever, thanks to Upgrade and Grey Matter. But I know i could make some improvement to it i will not be defeated by max tennyson RV

Coming out of a hardware store I bought electronics and tools that greymatter has recommended that the public can actually buy so not so advance stuff. Things like microcontroller microcomputers, multimeter, oscilloscopes and the like. While I could say that it is readily available for the masses, it really did put a dent in my savings, especially the raspberry pi.

There are also things that I as an engineering student don't know grey matter is truly a high intellect species. Looking at all the item i bought i thought 'i still don't understand how all this random part can make a 3d printer'

While in greymatter form 3d printer is one of the starting tools that I need to make for all the following inventions that I want to create.

All the stuff that I bought is so crucial so I will take it as an investment. I also need to start selling stuff. I was thinking more of a software because that way I don't need to care about the logistic side of things. And all I need to do is update it. I also need all this hardware to upgrade it. Now I can solder things to make a complete circuit. But I also bought some stuff that can make some pcb. That's a nice upgrade if I see one.

Packing all the hardware to the RV I start segmenting the RV and allocating a side of the RV for the lab. Now that i'm in jump city it kinda feels unreal in my previous life this is just a city that only appears in comics books. Now that i'm here i would like to look around see what the DC world has to offer

I drive the RV putting a location on the maps app to the bay area. One of the monuments that I would like to see is the titans tower. I have all this list of locations, people and items that I would like to see. I think it will be boring if i only stay in one city. Now that I'm in DC I could travel where I want even to outer space. I'm super excited about that one.

Passing through the city. Building over building it really hit me that now I'm in america. And not only a normal usa but the dc version of the usa. Closing into the bay I could now see the towering building that is the titans tower grandly standing in that island not too far from the beach.

I park the RV in the beach park area. Hoping to see it. And now that I'm now in the sand looking over the titans tower I could not help but smile a little. I could cross out the titans tower from the list.

I don't know about you but living in a universe like DC or MARVEL can be exciting. I know it could be dangerous. ' thank god i'm not a mutant in MARVEL that could get way too complicated to my taste'.

At Least in DC there is no super radical organization like HYDRA and many organizations that have this big hate boner for mutants. Not that the DC world does not have an evil organization. I could list some like the parliament of owls. The light and many more.

I smile knowing that this life would be exciting but I also pray in my heart that this is not some dark multiverse bullshit or whatever that is. 'May my journey in this Universe be amazing' I pray in my heart.

I took a look at the titans tower for a moment before turning back to my RV " lets get some food. I hope it tastes the same as in my own universe. I think a burger and fries will be great " I laugh at my thought a little before riding the RV to a burger joint.

Here I am enjoying a burger and some fries. A bank just over the road well i think that was the mistake eating in a restaurant just over a bank. While I'm enjoying the burger quietly, a police siren can be heard closing in. The police car stopped in front of the bank.

Only a day has passed since I arrived in this world, and already, there's a bank robbery occurring right in front of me . I can't help but laugh internally; this really is a superhero world. Just as the thought crosses my mind, a flicker of movement catches my eye. I squint and recognize a familiar figure—'Robin,' I think, realizing he's stealthily entering the bank through the rooftop while everyone outside is preoccupied with the commotion.

As I watch, I notice a flash of color in the sky. It's the Teen Titans—Starfire, glowing with energy, soaring above with Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven in tow. The energy shifts in the air, and I lean closer to the window, unable to tear my gaze away.

(3rd person POV)

"Do you have visual on all robbers and hostages yet?" Robin asked, his voice calm through the comms as he dropped silently into the vent system above the bank lobby.

"Five gunmen in the main hall with the hostages. Four more are breaching the vault," Cyborg replied from his overwatch post, eyes scanning thermal feeds.

"Got it. I'll take the vault crew. You scout for the getaway vehicle and block it. Let the others handle the hostages," Robin said, already adjusting course in the vents.

"Copy. Relaying the plan now."

Cyborg relayed instructions across the comms. In a blink, the team moved—Starfire and Beast Boy made their way through the rear entrance, Raven phased through the walls like a shadow.

The atmosphere was suffocating. Panic gripped the hostages as the five armed robbers paced back and forth. One of them barked into a walkie-talkie, his hand trembling slightly.

"How's the situation down there?" he asked.

"Almost done," a static-laced voice replied from the vault.

"Move faster. We've only got a small window before the Teen Titans show up."

He didn't realize how right he was.

With a thunderous crash, the vault door exploded outward. Smoke and debris filled the air. Robin emerged from the dust, staff spinning, taking down one robber before the rest could even raise their weapons.

Simultaneously, the lobby skylight shattered. Starfire descended like a comet, blasting two of the robbers into the wall with her starbolts. Beast Boy, now a lion, roared through the confusion and pinned another gunman to the ground.

Raven levitated above the chaos, dark energy snatching weapons from hands and slamming them against the walls. One final robber tried to make a run for the back—only to be stopped cold by Cyborg's cannon.

Within seconds, it was over.

Police sirens wailed as a crowd gathered outside the cordoned area. The Teen Titans stepped out of the bank, dragging the defeated robbers in zip-tie restraints.

From the window of a burger joint across the street, Rafael watched it all unfold. He took a quiet sip from his coffee, gaze fixed on the young heroes.

The way they moved—the coordination, the confidence—there was something inspiring about it. Something familiar.

He stood up, pulled his hood over his head, and walked out. Outside, his weathered RV waited at the curb.

Without a word, he climbed in and started the engine. The Titans faded from his rearview mirror as he drove off into the late afternoon traffic.
