First off—thank you for even clicking on this story. I can't lie—I'm a bit nervous writing this, but also genuinely excited (and maybe a little overwhelmed) to finally share a novel of my own. This is technically my first original work outside of writing fanfics, so it's both a leap and a learning process for me.
This novel is heavily inspired by two incredible stories that have stuck with me: Shadow Slave and Lord of the Mysteries. I've read them both multiple times now, and they continue to blow me away with their worldbuilding, characters, and just… the vibes. I wanted to try crafting something that carries even a fraction of that depth and atmosphere, while still telling a story that's uniquely my own.
