By now it was already 10pm and Kylie was heading home but she couldn't find any cabs, so she altered walking.
O my God, why do I have this pit feeling in my stomach like something really bad is going to happen_no,no!! it's all going to be fine once I get home it will all be fine, she kept mentally encouraging herself.
using her phone flash light, she illuminated her path_it was quite a dark night and she was not used to staying out so late.
Walking through the long alley, she knew this place wasn't to be trusted this time especially with all the casinos and bars in it_ bit it was the shortest she could use. Call it instinct or what but she felt the hairs on her back stand on the edge and she knows that feeling_someone was watching her. Gaining her composure, she hastened her footsteps and didn't dare to look back.That's when she heard it, a voice....
"Hey beautiful, won't you take it easy?"a man's voice said maniacally as Kylie, for a minute halted in her footsteps at once before she resumed at a faster pace and so did the man's footsteps but it didn't sound like one man's footsteps, thats when it downed on her_he was not alone.Fear like no other gripped Kylie's heart.
"Come on loosen up and have some fun" another voice said from the background. "just for one night" again a different voice added.
Scared, heart thudding so loudly she wouldn't be surprised if they could actually hear it and breath intensified. She was panicking, she started running but she was too frightened to the extent that she even tripped on her own legs_no, this was not the time. So, with a new resolve she stood up and ran as fast as her legs could take her as they also ran after her.

Maya was getting restless by the minute, Kylie was no where to be seen and it was not like her to stay out too late.
Kylie where are you, this is not funny please. Am scared, Maya thought after searching the house for the umpteenth time.
"Ok I admit you are the best at hiding so please come out" Maya pressed on. "You win," she added and sighed.
Maya tried calling her but she was not picking. She called at her job_'she took a day off, at the old age home_she hasn't showed up in days and at the orphanage_she last appeared there a week ago.Where on earth could she be .
She kept calling Kylie but all to no avail.
