"Are we seriously going to barge into a place that has blood thirsty creatures who are very powerful and old just so we can declare war to them?".Jessy asked as she looked around the group.
The rest of the girls didn't look fazed at all,yes this was the new generation of guardians but declaring war was a bit too much, not to mention that this would be the first time that they would encounter such creatures of such caliber.
"It's not that much of a big deal really,we will just walk in and out, very easy right?" Stephen said with a teasing grin on her face.
"it isn't but we should at least try talking to them,if it doesn't work, then we can use that declaration of war" she shot back, she knows just how stubborn her friends can be but she still wanted to try out her luck.
She looked at the other two girls who seemed like they didn't care about what happens,of course Alex was the type of person who go with whatever everyone wants but Dee was just the crazy type who would do extreme stuff without batting an eye.
Jessy, Stephen and Alex have been friends since kindergarten, they met Dee in 8th grade,it took a lot of time for her to actually accept them as her friends.
Dee was someone who was the unfriendly type, since she was the top of her school, very rich and quiet, she had some type of vibe that made it very impossible to approach.
That was until the three came along, they liked her and were curious about her personality so they decided to befriend and then started following her around like three little lost chicks.
"Hey,are you coming as well?" Stephen asked, she already knew the answer but tried her luck anyways.
Turning around, she looked at her friends who looked like they would break down if she didn't give them the answer that they wanted.
"No,I have some conference that I have to attend,so I can't tag along". She said as she took out her phone and looked at it.
When they all heard her answer, they couldn't help but curse under their breaths.
It was normal for Dee to turn down their offers most of the time not because she didn't want to hangout with them but because she had a lot going on in her life,at only 21 she had achieved what most people wouldn't have achieved.
She was the youngest daughter of the Sanders family who were a family full of politicians and judges.
Apart from being the youngest in the family, she had a foundation at a tender age, this foundation offered scholarships, she had a bunch of orphanages built using the money that she used to get from being a mathematical genius, she had solved some questions that were yet to be proven correct by the mathematical experts.
She also had a very beautiful singer which made her very famous as time went on,she made alot of money from that and only decided to sing part time since she had school as well as attending other charity events and meeting up very influencial people in the world.
"Alright,Incase it gets really ugly,we will definitely call for backup"Alex said as she looked her dead in the eye,Dee was like their clean up crew,if they can't handle it,she would step in.
"Don't bother,I won't come" she stated as a fact of fact.
"There are three of you,I'm pretty sure you can handle of bunch of oldies, it's very simple"
Jessy laughed while looking at her young friend, this was so like her, ever stating facts without sugarcoating them.
"Fine babe, but don't come at my funeral to cry when I don't make it because I will definitely haunt you" Stephen said as she leaned towards her.
She moved away quickly, waved at them and then proceeded to get into her car that was waiting for her.
When the car was nowhere to be seen, the three looked at each other and smiled, they knew that it was going to be a fun night after all.
They all got into their cars and left, they had to get ready for the night ahead of them.
