Chapter 2 - First Mission —Brother 1

Alexis stepped out of the sleek black car, heels snapped on the marble pavement as she stared up at the tall glass building in front of her.

Wolfe Corporation.

Big. Powerful. Sexy.

Just like the man who owned it.

She popped in her wireless pods and adjusted her tight white blouse. Her boobs sat up perfectly—on purpose.

"Siren, I'm in," she whispered under her breath.

Siren's voice came through her earpiece, smooth and sharp. "Good. Keep your head high and your chest higher. You're his new secretary, remember? Zane Wolfe's personal assistant. Try not to drool."

"I don't drool," Alexis said, walking through the gold-framed doors like she owned the place. "But I do bite."

The lobby smelled like rich leather and ambition. Men in suits. Women in heels. Everyone moved fast. But Alexis? She moved hotter.

She made it to the front desk, flashing her ID and that confident smile that made men forget what they were saying.

"Miss Alexis Rose," the receptionist said, checking the screen. "You've been approved. Top floor. Mr. Zane Wolfe is waiting."

Oh, he's waiting? Alexis thought, licking her lips.

As she stepped into the elevator, her heart beat faster—not from nerves. From excitement. The game had started.

She could hear Siren again.

"Eyes open. Chest out. Find out what makes him tick. And remember… don't fall."

Alexis smirked as the elevator climbed up to the top floor.

"I'm not falling. I'm taking control."

Ding.

The doors opened.

Let the seduction begin.

Alexis stepped out of the elevator, heels sharp on the marble floor, boobs perfectly in place, back straight like a queen walking into her castle.

Except—this wasn't hers.

Yet.

The office was huge. Cold. All black and glass. And there he was.

Zane Wolfe.

Sitting behind a sleek desk like some dark king. Tall, broad shoulders, tousled black hair, sharp jaw, black suit hugging his body like it was sewn onto him. His eyes? Cold. Focused. Like he'd already sized her up and moved on.

Damn.

That's him? That's the scary virgin billionaire with the big one?

Alexis blinked fast, straightened her spine. I'm here for a mission. Focus, boobs. Stay up. Stay calm.

She walked forward, offering her hand with a smile. "Hi. Alexis Rose. Your new secretary."

Zane didn't even look up from his tablet.

Did. Not. Look. Up.

No handshake. No smile. Just a cold, dry, "You're late."

She blinked. Excuse me?

Her smile didn't falter. "I was exactly on time."

He finally looked up.

And oh hell. Those eyes. Stormy. Cold. Dangerous. Like he could ruin your whole life with just one sentence. Or one night.

He stared. Not at her face. Not at her chest. Just into her eyes like he was already bored of her.

"I don't like delays," he said.

Alexis forced her sweetest voice. "Don't worry. I don't like disappointing men."

He said nothing. Just looked back down at his screen like she didn't exist.

Oh, this one's gonna be tough.

Real tough.

But I'm tougher.

She walked to her desk outside his office, hips swaying like she didn't care—

But inside?

Game on, Zane Wolfe.

Let's see who breaks first.

A woman in her late thirties walked in—high ponytail, red lips, glasses sitting low on her nose. She held a clipboard tight to her chest like it was her shield from the world.

Alexis sat up straighter at her new desk, pretending to type something important. The woman stopped in front of her with a tired sigh.

"You must be the new one."

"Yes. Alexis," she said, smiling politely.

The woman didn't smile back.

"I'm Carrie. I've worked with Mr. Wolfe for eight years. Here's his schedule," she said, dropping the clipboard on the desk like it weighed a thousand pounds. "He hates when people are late. He doesn't do small talk. Don't ask about his personal life. Don't touch his coffee. He only drinks black. No sugar, no cream. Just like his soul."

Alexis blinked. "Got it…"

Carrie leaned in a little. "Also—don't fall in love with him. Every new assistant thinks she's the one. He doesn't date. He doesn't flirt. He doesn't even say good morning. Just do your job and don't stare too long."

Alexis nodded, trying to look serious. Too late. I already stared for ten solid seconds.

Carrie pointed to a small red sticker on the corner of the clipboard. "If it turns green, that means he's in a bad mood. Which is like… every day. If it turns red—run."

"Wait. What?"

"Just run. Trust me." Carrie gave her a look that said been there, done that, still in therapy.

Alexis held back a smirk. This place is insane. I love it.

As Carrie walked off, Alexis glanced down at the schedule, then back at the closed office door.

Let's see if I can survive a week with the boss from hell. Or maybe make him break his own rules.

Because Agent 504 never loses.

The small desk screen in front of Alexis beeped twice. A little red light flashed beside Zane Wolfe's name.

He's calling.

She quickly looked down at her outfit, smoothing the front of her blouse. Her boobs weren't exactly hiding, and her skirt felt shorter the more she thought about it. She adjusted both anyway, tucked her hair behind her ears, and stood.

Here goes nothing.

Zane Wolfe sat behind his massive desk, dressed in black from head to toe. His tousled hair looked like he'd just rolled out of bed—rude, sexy and dangerous.

He didn't even glance at her. "There's a staff meeting later today," he said flatly. "You'll be introduced to the rest of the company. They'll brief you on the rules, expectations, and confidentiality. You're expected to show up on time. No excuses."

Alexis nodded. "Yes, sir."

He still didn't look up. Just kept typing. Like she wasn't even there.

Inside her ear, the hidden pod crackled to life. Siren 105's voice came through low and sharp.

"There's more to that office than a cold chair and a grumpy face. Keep your eyes open. Smile. Be sweet. Even if he's a jerk. Win him over... get him on his knees, begging for more."

Alexis swallowed hard, keeping her expression cool.

Get him on his knees? This man? The one who hasn't even looked at me twice? Siren must be joking.

Zane looked up suddenly, his cold grey eyes locking on hers. Like he heard her thoughts.

She forced a small smile, her heart beating just a little too fast.

Okay, Alexis... this is more than a mission now.
