Chapter 7 - chapter 6

"Elder, there is no enmity between us. Why must you attack me?" the young woman asked in a puzzled voice.

"I am merely following the Emperor's orders. No matter what you say, I will act against you all the same. You mean nothing to me," the elder replied coldly before moving toward the young woman.

The young woman swiftly shifted to another direction, raising the silver sword in her delicate white hand and swinging it rapidly toward the elder's body to her right.

The elder parried her silver sword with his own, knocking it away. The sword spun through the air, but the woman gracefully turned and caught it firmly in her palm with remarkable speed.

"You and Hua Shan are both utterly unreasonable! My husband and I have never harmed you in any way! Your acts of slaughter will be remembered. In the future, your clan and your universe will surely face ruin!"

the woman declared with a solemn voice, her eyes flashing with a deep, unforgettable hatred as she dodged the elder's sword strikes.

Upon hearing those words, the elder let out a sharp scoff Hmph!

'Those who surpass our Emperor in strength remain in their own realms and care not who lives or dies. The deaths of your husband, yourself, and even your child mean nothing. Once your child is slain, no one will be left to seek vengeance. The Emperor, I, and our tens of millions of universes will live on in peace!'

the elder declared in a firm voice as he moved, slashing his glowing blue blade swiftly toward her.

The woman darted away, appearing in another direction with the swiftness of a lightning bolt, narrowly escaping the elder's blade just in time.

Hua Shan stood with arms crossed, his gaze sweeping over the elder and the young woman before him. A sly smile curled on his lips like a spectator watching an entertaining match, his eyes gleaming as if awaiting a particular outcome.

He was eager to know whether the elder had enough skill to settle this matter and capture the woman. If he succeeded… the handsome reward prepared would be handed over to him without hesitation.

The elder suddenly surged forward, reappearing above the young woman's head in a flash. His thick hand swung the glowing blue blade down in a flurry, the sound of clashing steel echoing like thunder crashing again and again.

Yet the young woman moved with remarkable agility, narrowly evading each strike. She lifted her gaze toward the elder hovering above, then raised her shimmering silver sword, pointing it skyward.

A brilliant beam of pale blue light burst forth from the sword's tip, shooting straight up toward the elder from below.

The elder swiftly teleported away in an instant, but the young woman wasn't about to let the opportunity slip. The silver sword in her hand slashed upward again, forming a sharp white arc that pierced toward the elder's back with pinpoint accuracy.

The elder dodged nimbly, his movements as fluid and swift as a streak of light left, right, forward, back with flawless precision. Not a scratch landed on him.

The young woman bit her lip in frustration and suddenly darted forward at high speed. Her pale hand flipped, gripping the silver sword tightly, then hurled it with great force and accuracy.

The elder dodged swiftly, his sharp eyes briefly glancing at the woman before flicking his glowing blue blade shimmering like ocean waves toward the silver sword that the woman had guided from the right.

A deafening clang echoed as the blades clashed. Both opponents engaged in a fierce exchange of weapons, unrelenting and intense. Neither showed signs of yielding. Their faces were taut with seriousness, beads of sweat forming on their foreheads without them realizing.

Both the elder and the young woman were seasoned warriors, deeply experienced and highly skilled. Their evasive maneuvers were sharp and precise. Every strike they delivered was timed to perfection, each filled with lethal intent.

They were clearly well-matched. Their power levels were nearly equal close enough that even the slightest mistake could prove fatal.

"You and Hua Shan are completely unreasonable! You murdered both my husband and my son!!"

The young woman's furious roar thundered through the air. She rose into the sky, her body radiating an intense blue light that blazed across the battlefield with awe-inspiring might.

The elder, who had just lunged toward her, was forced to halt mid-air. The sheer force of the radiant energy blasted him backward violently, causing him to spit blood from his mouth.

"Today... even if I must die, I will never forgive you!!"

The young woman's voice trembled with hatred. Her eyes reflected flames of sorrow, yet burned with unwavering resolve.

As she finished speaking, she raised her gleaming silver sword high above her head. The very air around her quivered with the intensity of her will.

In the blink of an eye, the heavens roared as if shaken to their core.

Suddenly, hundreds of gods appeared in the sky, each radiating a different hue of divine light. Their eyes sparkled, and their bodies shone like stars falling from the heavens. Each bore a unique weapon spears, halberds, swords, zithers, bows, or staves all of which gleamed like celestial light.

The gods emitted golden auras that shimmered with sacred power beyond comprehension. Behind each of them spun a radiant, mysterious halo, swirling slowly each one filled with an indescribable energy far beyond human understanding.

They stood tall and majestic, awe-inspiring like the moon in the night sky or the blazing sun at dawn.
