The battle in Sokovia continued with devastating intensity. With the appearance of a speedster on the battlefield, the previously uninjured Avengers suffered their first casualties.
Hawkeye shot an arrow at the bunker and took cover behind a tree, waiting for the explosion. But after several seconds, no detonation came, making him frown in confusion.
Drawing his bow again, just as he was about to shoot, his body was violently knocked down. The speed was so fast he couldn't even see his attacker's movement.
Getting up, Barton saw a blonde man leisurely walking past him, arrogantly saying, "You didn't see that coming?"
Barton quickly reacted and took aim, but the person had already vanished. At that moment, gunfire from the bunker hit the unaware Barton. He fell injured, and Natasha hurried forward to help.
From Natasha's back, the pink bear jumped down, carrying a small medical kit and taking out cotton to stop Barton's bleeding.
On the other side, Steve also encountered the speedster's attack. After hearing Barton was injured, Steve told Tony to quickly deal with the energy barrier.
Tony analyzed the system through JARVIS and shut down the barrier. Thor went to take Barton back to the plane, while Steve and Tony headed to the fortress to find the Mind Scepter.
After Tony disabled the barrier, he entered first to clear the area. Bullets couldn't harm his armor. Finding files that were about to be deleted, he prepared to copy them while the soldiers outside were mostly eliminated.
Steve signaled Natasha to deal with the Hulk. Among the Avengers, only she could handle that temperamental giant.
Finding the rampaging Hulk, Natasha carefully approached. "Hey, big guy, the sun's getting real low." She removed her gloves, showing her unguarded side.
The originally frenzied Hulk also approached and gradually calmed down. Like taming a massive dog, Hulk gradually became conscious as she touched his arm. In the snow and ice, Banner lay there unconscious.
The pink bear climbed out from Natasha's back, holding a wrench in its left hand and a hammer in its right.
Seeing this, Natasha laughed, "We don't need to repair him."
The bear tilted its head and casually threw the two items away, then took out a shell it had taken from a tank.
"No, no, we're not going to blow him up either." Natasha petted the bear's head. The bear reluctantly accepted this.
Suddenly, as if sensing something, the bear looked toward the fortress.
"Tony and Steve had breached the fortress successfully. Steve came face to face with the second enhanced individual, Wanda, who hurled him out with tremendous force. The captured Strucker watched in confusion. "Hey, what about me? I'm still here!""
When Wanda left, she also closed the door, directly cutting off Strucker's escape route. What awaited him was being knocked unconscious by Steve's shield.
Tony, entering the HYDRA base's secret chamber, saw Chitauri wreckage. A massive Leviathan occupied this underground space. HYDRA had stored all the weapons transferred from S.H.I.E.L.D. here.
Tony even saw the Mind Scepter. He smiled and shared this good news. "Thor, I've got my eyes on the prize."
But Tony didn't notice a woman silently appearing behind him. When he stopped, Wanda emerged from behind. Her fingers made cryptic gestures, chaos magic energy quietly affecting Tony.
Suddenly, Tony watched as the suspended Leviathan stirred to life and swam away. Below, the bodies of his fellow Avengers littered the ground: Hulk, Natasha, Barton, Thor, and Steve. All had perished in some terrible disaster. Captain America's iconic shield lay split in two.
The terrible scene became Tony's inner demon. He saw the Chitauri fleet heading toward that blue planet, and the beautiful, fragile Earth had no means of resistance.
Tony snapped back to consciousness, gasping. Seeing this scene, Wanda knew her revenge would drive this man into the abyss. After her family was destroyed by a missile marked with "Stark," she had thought of revenge countless times.
Wanda stopped her brother Pietro. Their revenge had begun.
"Where's the bear?" Pietro asked, looking at Wanda's waist. Wanda snapped back to reality and felt around frantically. The bear was missing.
Steve was thrown out along with a door. He had found an entrance and was about to enter when it was brutally smashed open.
When he saw clearly what it was, his expression showed surprise. "Natasha."
"What?" Natasha, who had just turned Hulk back into Banner, heard the call and questioned.
Steve got up and raised his shield, "Are you sure your bear is still there?"
"My bear? What are you talking about, Captain? Of course it's..." Natasha's words stopped abruptly.
She looked toward the fortress and saw Steve being punched and sent flying by a furry bear paw. She stared blankly in that direction, then looked down at the pink bear that was also watching.
"ROAR!"
The mighty roar stirred up snowflakes like a shockwave. Steve caught his breath, "Tell me you didn't put Hulk to sleep."
Natasha knew the situation was urgent, looking at Banner, "I wish I could."
A white teddy bear ran out. The surrounding snow condensed into ice spikes, shooting toward Steve. Steve raised his shield to intercept, blocking all attacks.
He was kicked flying by the big white bear again. But this kick hit the vibranium shield, also shaking the bear. Steve quickly got up and threw his shield, hitting the big white bear. The bear grabbed a nearby tank barrel and smashed it.
Both sides fought their way out of the fortress. The big white bear entered rage mode. A circle of telekinetic waves spread out.
Just as Steve was about to run, a rope suddenly emerged from under his feet. The other end was in the big white bear's hand. Steve quickly flipped over, cut the rope with his shield, and threw the shield in a spinning motion.
After the shield hit the big white bear's head, it bounced back. The big white bear shook its head and charged again. Steve fought while retreating.
Natasha also wanted to help. As soon as she took a step, the pink bear hugged her leg.
"Little bear, let me go." Natasha's tone was somewhat anxious.
But the bear shook its head. It patted its own bottom, then made a snowball-throwing motion.
"You want me to throw you over there?" Natasha understood the bear's meaning. She hesitated, "You know that bear, don't you?"
The bear nodded. Natasha glanced at the leaping Steve and grabbed the bear, throwing it forcefully in that direction.
The pink bear flew through the air, adjusting its body to spin as it descended. The big white bear stepped on flying snowflakes, charging toward Steve. Steve readied his shield, prepared for counterattack.
Right between them, the pink bear spun onto the scene. The charging big white bear let out a roar. The pink bear moved unhurriedly, positioning its hands in a stance.
Slowly approaching its own little bear waist, that pink bottom began to sway. Besides being confused, Steve also heard music in his ears.
The appearance of music made him feel dazed, because he had heard this before. Tom and Jerry.
Meanwhile, back in London, Basil came back from bullying owls outside. Seeming to sense Riddle's presence, it protested.
"Alright, who told you not to be here," John said, taking out small fish treats to feed Basil. "Riddle wasn't gone long."
After much coaxing, Basil finally accepted it. John took off his shoes, rolled up his trouser legs, and pushed up his sleeves.
John, ready for action, looked at the three-story tall furnace. He stepped barefoot onto the red-hot furnace, walking upward step by step. The flames couldn't harm him.
When he reached the top floor, John's gaze penetrated through the golden, nearly melted furnace top, seeing the molten metal immersed in layers of precious materials.
"With flesh and blood, for flesh and blood," he murmured to himself, his wand slicing across his palm.
Red blood tinged with gold, like mercury, passed through the furnace top and flowed inside. The originally golden molten metal reacted rapidly upon contact with the blood. The molten metal quickly gathered and contracted.
The furnace suddenly exploded.
"THUMP!"
In the explosion, a deep beating sound emerged. Rushing out of the laboratory, crossing London, leaping out of Britain, and surpassing numerous countries, it fell into one person's ears.
That person opened his eyes, his body already soaked with sweat. Someone knocked on the door. The person looked over.
The door opened, with Blade and Ciri standing in the doorway. He got up and indifferently put on his clothes. Putting a watch on his left hand, he equipped his weapons.
"I need to make a trip to Sokovia."
