Chapter 02
The system's instructions were not wrong.
As soon as I entered this world and tried my best to get a glimpse of Jason Quinn from afar,
I immediately caught the attention of the several black-clad, muscular bodyguards trailing behind him.
Jason Quinn stood in front of the school, dressed in black, his coat casually draped over his shoulders.
He was waiting for his son to be dismissed.
He didn't even glance my way.
I stared at his cold, sharp profile.
Some strange, uncontrollable emotion stirred deep within me.
It was so sorrowful that it almost brought tears to my eyes.
I found myself frozen in place, unable to move.
I didn't even notice that his bodyguards had already approached.
Suddenly, I was violently thrown to the side,
pain coursing through every part of my body.
The bodyguard who had thrown me down wore a fierce expression.
Before leaving, he shot a warning my way:
"Don't look at things you shouldn't."
He shot a cold glance at my miserable form on the ground,
then coldly added,
"The next time, it won't be so simple."
