"Look who we have here," Maddie said, clicking her tongue haughtily.
One of her mates came to her side holding her hand as if she were some high monarch.
I stared at her before smiling faintly. "It seems like you are already used to your life of foursome, I actually think it is good for you, at least now you know your place," I said, ever so sweetly.
The mask on her face fell miserably. "Ember, you whore!" she exploded like a firework, she pulled her hands from her mate's palms. Her face was as red as tomato sauce. "You think I didn't hear how Alpha Damon had rejected you because you were an abomination, a fae." Maddie spat on the ground in disgust.
