"Waking up,Jude rushed to brush his teeth,had his bath and wore a black t-shirt,black jean trousers,black jacket and a pair of sneakers with white high soles and black body.
Over the years,he had finished schooling,not surprising and he had been called to take up a job in a very prestigious company as the head designer and he accepted.
The job didn't require him necessarily staying in an office,all they did was to send him what they wanted and he would do it. The job payed extremely well and he was no longer a burden to his parents.
Freya would soon be done with school and would go for internship at a medical institution.
He rapidly ate his breakfast and left. He had an appointment with Luka and he had repeatedly been told not to be late.Reaching the door of Luka's house, he was about to knock when the door opened.
"Hey"he looked at Luka.
"Hey,let's get going I have to get some supplies today,it's going to be a long day"Luka locked the door of the house and started walking with Jude.
"I can't believe it, he called me to go shopping!"Jude mentally scolded himself for taking Luka seriously before finally shoving the thoughts aside.
The duo went to the city shopping mall,"I'll go get the groceries"Luka waved at his friend and went into a section of the mall.
Jude continued sightseeing since Luka had left,however he collided with someone.
"Look where you're going"the boy glared at Jude,he couldn't believe it, wasn't he the victim here?, the guy had collided with him and instead of apologizing began reprimanding him,by then all instincts telling Jude to apologize were sealed shut."aren't you going to apologize"the boy scoffed.
"Rude people don't get apologies"Jude casually spoke putting his hands into his pocket as he took a closer look at the boy,he had brown hair and emerald green eyes and a light skin but not pale.
He was wearing a black shirt and dark green hoodie and black pants on white high canvas.
Hearing this,the boy scoffed and shoved Jude away"insolent brat".Jude chuckled as he watched the boys retreating figure.
He saw Luka heading over to him with a lot of bags so he helped him carry some."what took you so long?" he finally managed to get a few bags from Luka as they continued walking.
"I got carried away with this" Luka smiled gleefully as he showed his friend a poster."Power/abilities scouting" he read the title of the poster, confused he looked at Luka"what's that?." "Well, they're scouting for people with powers or abilities" he deadpanned."I Know what it means idiot,I'm asking whether people with abilities really exist" he rolled his eyes.
Luka who was about to respond finally noticed that they had been standing outside his house for some minutes.
"I'll tell you all about it tomorrow,let's meet up at the city library,for now you should get going" Jude nodded and turned around.
Once he got home he found Freya eating alone.
"Where's mom and dad" they went on a business trip said they'd be back in two weeks"she continued eating.
"Mind if I join?"Jude sat near her." Here"she passed his plate of food to him as she continued stirring her food.
He looked at her"what's wrong?."
"Nothing, these days my life has been boring, I feel useless"she plopped her head on her hands as she pushed the plate of food away" it's almost disturbing,I miss the days you and I would play" he looked at her,truth be told he missed those days too.
"How about joining Luka and I tomorrow,were going to find out about powers and abilities" her eyes brightened,"thanks"she smiled before walking to her bedroom.
Jude also retired to his room as he had his bath and changed into his sleepwear.
He stared blankly at the roof before finally dozing off.
