This clash was in no way inferior to that famous blow between Roger and young Whitebeard.
If anything, it was even more outrageous.
Back then, those two still had to worry about their crews. They did not go all out with their ultimate moves.
Ozz and Kaido were different.
Two completely different breeds of villains, both drunk and both fighting with everything they had, each dead set on smashing the other into the ground.
Kaido was excited. Fighting a monster like Ozz, whom he recognized as a true powerhouse, and hearing that this man also wanted to drag the whole world into a great war, made his entire body tremble with thrill.
Ozz just thought it was fun. Drunk, with a grin tugging at his lips, he only wanted to beat Kaido half to death and then sit on his horns to take a photo.
Did they really have any deep grudge?
Not really. It was just the instinctive pull between the strong.
The black and red Conqueror's blast, laced with the power to erase space itself, rushed forward in a torrent.
It slammed straight into the colossal Fire Dragon that looked like some divine beast from ancient myth. The instant they collided, an impossibly intense light exploded at the point of impact.
The detonation that followed sounded like it would tear eardrums apart. Shockwaves spread from the center, dragging up earth, trees, mountains, and everything else in their path.
Before these two attacks, anything and everything seemed laughably fragile. The power was like a nuclear blast, wiping the cloud covered sky clean in an instant.
The aftershock, centered in the outskirts, continued to sweep toward the Flower Capital. Everything in its path was erased.
This was just the fallout from a duel between two living beings. And that alone was enough to erase half the Flower Capital, transforming it into a wasteland in moments.
"Crack crack crack…"
Suspended high in the air by King, who had grabbed his mechanical arm and flown him out of range, Queen stared at the scene below. His eyes bulged out several dozen centimeters, snot dripping freely without him even noticing, his mouth hanging open, speechless.
"The aftershock from a clash in midair… actually destroyed half the city…"
"Is this really something humans can do?"
Queen had no doubt that if this impact had happened on the ground instead, it would not have stopped at half the Flower Capital.
Probably half of Wano would have been scrapped.
And Wano was not some tiny nation. It was a relatively large island country. The Flower Capital, as its main city, was bigger than some small kingdoms.
Dramos, placed here, would not even be half the size of the capital.
"Caw."
The Seagull King also had its beak hanging open, cold sweat all over its feathered face. The trace of Conqueror's Haki around it quietly withdrew.
Clearly, a scene like this had completely shattered its worldview as a bird.
"Ozz… Lord Kaido…"
Soaring through the sky in his pteranodon form, his entire body wrapped in black armor, King stared fixedly at the center where the devastating aftershock had originated.
Smoke and dust slowly dispersed. The violent shockwaves cleared the rubble away.
When the last obstacles blocking their view finally scattered and the brutal flames and light faded, everyone could finally see the center of the battlefield clearly.
At the bottom of a pit so deep the end could not be seen, directly beneath the point of impact, the earth looked like it had been struck by a meteor.
A gigantic crater.
Everyone stared toward the middle of that crater. Smoke and dust still billowed from within.
Slowly, a clear silhouette emerged.
Sss…
"Phew."
The Seagull King did not react much to that sound, but Queen's jaw dropped. King's eyes snapped wide open, bloodshot.
The figure in the pit finally came fully into view.
A handsome man with long black hair, bare chested, sitting with one leg casually crossed over the other. He used one hand to shield the wind as he lit a cigar.
Beneath him sat a dragon.
A massive Azure Dragon, mouth hanging open, eyes rolled white, its entire body covered in horrifying wounds.
"Hurts quite a bit, Cutie."
Ozz chuckled softly. He was seated on the dragon's head, one hand resting lightly on a horn as he exhaled smoke.
Of course, he had not gotten out of this completely unscathed.
Several faintly visible wounds marked his body, still not fully healed. He had poured everything into beating Kaido half to death, so his focus had been on offense. Healing his own body had come second.
He did not believe for a second that Kaido's Flame Dragon Torch would just tuck him into bed.
So right now, Ozz was, for once, not in that flawless, uninjured state. Blood still stained his body and the corner of his mouth.
And this was after he had used a bit of teleportation recovery to patch himself up.
He was just slightly battered. That was all.
The Seagull King was the first to snap out of it. It reverted to its normal form, a camera hanging from its neck.
It flew to the air above Ozz, pointed at its camera, then looked down at him, clearly hesitant.
Caw?
(Still taking the photo?)
Normally, aside from being a mount, clearing out small fry, or tweaking the weather, one of the Seagull King's main jobs was recording Ozz's life.
But Ozz was usually elegant and immaculate. Seeing him now, still covered in wounds and blood, made the bird hesitate.
"It is fine."
Ozz did not care at all. He was not some idol with a reputation to protect. So he straightforwardly raised his fingers in a V sign.
Click.
The camera froze the moment in time.
Ozz's Dragon Capture Portrait.
He admired it for a moment, then tucked the photo away. He had no plans to put this one in the papers. It would stay as part of his private collection.
While Ozz and the Seagull King were busy taking pictures on one side, an argument broke out between King and Queen on the other.
Looking at King's bloodshot eyes and the flames roaring higher and higher on his back, Queen was so scared he started to stutter.
"H hey hey. You interrogation freak. You are not seriously thinking of…"
King's tone was completely matter of fact, his gaze icy.
"What else would I be thinking? Of course I am going to rescue Lord Kaido."
"What!!!"
Queen struggled frantically, but King held him in a death grip.
"If we go over there it will not change anything. We will just be throwing our lives away. Even Boss Kaido…"
He did not finish the sentence, but his tiny eyes slid toward Ozz.
Even Boss Kaido was lying there half dead on the ground, while Black Gun still looked like nothing had happened.
How could they possibly have even the slightest chance of winning.
Luckily for them, Ozz had no intention of doing anything to the two of them.
The baby dragon persona might have disgusted him back when it was just a raid boss in a game, but Queen's clownish nature actually made Ozz find him hard to hate. As for King, a reliable emperor's right hand, Ozz had no complaints. He thought that black armor was pretty cool, too.
He did not make things hard for them. He just patted the dust off himself and stood up.
"Hey, you two."
"If you want to trade for Kaido's life, then bring me samurai in exchange."
