While Leonard was outside feeding the mosquitoes, in the rental house, Klein was painstakingly acting the part of an ordinary person encountering danger.

Speaking of which, Klein was really unlucky. He, who had previously used the name Zhou Mingrui, found that he had "transmigrated" around dawn today, after closing and opening his eyes, and moreover, transmigrated into a young man who was "delusional."

After finally waiting for the "delusion" to clear, Klein digested the original owner's memory fragments, and after seeing his sister off to school, Klein, who was single-mindedly focused on returning home, used the black bread he had just bought to set up a transfer ritual suspected of causing his transmigration, but failed to successfully return home, instead entering a mysterious expanse above the gray fog.

Above the gray fog, Klein also unexpectedly summoned two other people. After a round of conversation, Klein successfully established a figure of authority by feigning divinity or mystery, created a persona/alias named The Fool, and together with the other two, established the Tarot Club above the gray fog.

After finally finishing the meeting, after Klein saw the two off, he took a nap because his spirituality was depleted, but as soon as he woke up, the police came knocking.

It was then that Klein learned that the original owner had been involved in a black divination incident. The other two people involved in this incident had already committed suicide, and only he was still "alive," so he was under special scrutiny.

Unfortunately, the original owner's memory that Klein inherited contained no information about this divination. He also knew clearly that the original owner had not failed to commit suicide; rather, his transmigration made "Klein Moretti" appear to be still alive.

But matters concerning transmigration and resurrection from death were obviously things Klein couldn't tell anyone. So he could only use his words as much as possible to show his innocence, and after Dunn and the others left, display the appearance that an ordinary person should have.

Otherwise, if he acted too calm, or showed his understanding of extraordinary powers, Klein was really afraid he would be arrested as a criminal—at the recently concluded Tarot Club meeting, Klein happened to hear the other two mention some knowledge about extraordinary powers, and knew that official extraordinary organizations existed.

In fact, Klein strongly suspected that among the people who had just come to question him, there might be official extraordinary individuals.

"I hope I don't become a prison-bound youth right after transmigrating. This would be truly torturous," Klein muttered inwardly, and again tried hard to recall the original owner's memories regarding this matter, but in the end, he still found nothing.

He couldn't remember at all how the original owner's suicide happened, or what role he played in this black divination incident.

...

Backlund, East Borough, Dalaravi Street, inside a lively small bar.

Lou Lin frowned, smelling the scent of cheap alcohol in the air. His gaze swept over the other people in the bar, and finally found his target at a bar counter.

Lou Lin skillfully moved through the crowd, arriving at the bar counter. He looked at the young man drinking in front of him. The man was around twenty years old, with a long, thin face, messy eyebrows, but relatively soft features, which was not much different from the description in the original work.

Williams, barely half an informant, had some connections with several gangs in the East Borough.

However, the reason Lou Lin came to find this person was not about gang matters, but because this informant was quite familiar with Xio Derecha.

"Williams, I need to see you about something," Lou Lin said. His voice was not loud, not obvious in this noisy bar, but to Williams' ears, it was like a clap of thunder.

"Who are you?" Williams asked, showing a confused expression after seeing clearly who was looking for him.

"You can call me Jack Jones," Lou Lin said without changing his expression, giving a fake name. Then, getting straight to the point, he said, "You should know Ms. Xio, the bounty hunter, right? I have something I want to entrust to her, because it's a relatively important matter, so I hope to meet with her and talk face-to-face."

Lou Lin wasn't worried that this sudden request would arouse suspicion, because Xio was indeed a well-known bounty hunter in the East Borough. Even "Evah Zoroast" had heard of her reputation when he lived in the East Borough, so it was very normal to find Xio to issue a commission.

"You're looking for Xio?" Williams glanced at Lou Lin, not surprised. He just took a sip of his drink, seemingly pondering for a few seconds, and said, "I'll tell Xio about this. Come back at this time tomorrow. If she is willing to see you, you'll see her here, but I can't guarantee it."

"Also, whether you can meet her or not, you have to pay me a finder's fee," Williams said, making a gesture for money.

Lou Lin wasn't surprised by this. He took out a one-pound banknote from his pocket and handed it to Williams, saying, "If I can meet Xio, I can give you another pound."

"Generous kid." Williams took the money, and without avoiding Lou Lin, checked its authenticity on the spot, then happily put the money away.

One or two pounds were naturally not a large sum of money for Williams, but getting this money just by notifying Xio was almost like picking it up for free, so he was naturally happy.

Lou Lin smiled at this, said nothing, and turned to leave.

He also needed to go to Backlund University to prepare for his fake identity.

Williams, on the other hand, watched Lou Lin's back, a thoughtful look in his eyes.

"Could it be for those mysterious matters?"

As an informant, Williams was not completely ignorant of matters in the extraordinary domain. He had more or less come into contact with some low-level extraordinary individuals, so he probably knew that Xio might be one of the legendary extraordinary individuals, and there had also been a few people over the years who wanted to enter the extraordinary circle through Xio.

However, Williams didn't know whether those people had become extraordinary like Xio. He didn't have much yearning for it either, only wishing to continue his current life.

...

The next day, Dalaravi Street Bar.

When Lou Lin arrived at the bar as agreed, sure enough, he saw a certain lady at the bar counter.

"Hello, Ms. Xio," Roland greeted, walking up and proactively saying hello, while also sizing her up.

The young woman in front of him was less than 1.5 meters tall, had messy yellow hair, refined features, and wore clothes suitable for movement. Just standing there, there was an indescribable majesty about her.

Xio Deretcha, Arbiter of Justiciar Pathway, the future Judgement of the Tarot Club, and Fors Wall's close friend.

The reason Roland specifically came to meet Xio was very simple. On one hand, he planned to use Xio and Fors to integrate into Backlund's beyonder circle and join various beyonder gatherings. On the other hand, it was as groundwork for joining the Tarot Club later.

Since he had come to the world of Lord of Mysteries, Roland naturally wouldn't miss the legendary Tarot Club. From the perspective of benefits, the Tarot Club was an excellent channel, having various high-end products and information. It was very convenient whether buying or selling things. Moreover, each member had extraordinary potential, were future powerful figures, and were worth Lou Lin making friends with.

From the perspective of fun, Lou Lin had even prepared fake diaries. If he didn't witness The Fool reading the diaries in person, and didn't find an opportunity to tease The Fool, how could he justify it to himself ?
