One had to admit—
the Crime Syndicate's ambitions were truly astonishing.
Not only were they unsatisfied with killing Diana—
they actually planned to invade her homeland, Themyscira.
But, well… Alex had to admit, their audacity sparked an idea.
Instead of wiping them out right away,
he decided to let them live a little longer.
Because even though Alex now possessed countless incredible abilities—
even though, to everyone else, he was practically cheating against reality itself—
he still wasn't omnipotent.
For instance—
finding Themyscira wasn't something he could do alone.
Themyscira was completely cut off from the mortal world.
When the gods created it, they used divine artifacts to shroud and conceal its existence.
It wasn't just hidden—
it was erased from the world's perception.
Even Alex's super-hearing, x-ray vision, and every other ability he possessed
were useless here.
And as for tracking it through Diana herself?
No chance.
Themyscira's defenses were absolute.
Any Amazon who left the island would automatically forget everything about it.
Even Princess Diana—its own daughter—had no idea where it was located.
Unless the island itself chose to contact her,
she would never find her way back.
So if Alex wanted to pay Themyscira a "visit"…
he'd have to let the Crime Syndicate do the hard work first.
And once they succeeded—
> "Heh. I'll let you dance around a little longer,"
Alex said with a faint grin.
When they finally found Themyscira,
then—and only then—would he erase them from existence.
---
In the following weeks, Alex quietly enjoyed a carefree life with Selina,
while keeping a discreet ear on the Crime Syndicate's every move.
And, to their credit,
they didn't disappoint him.
Realizing Alex was far beyond their ability to provoke,
they completely abandoned any plan against him—
and instead threw everything they had into their "Themyscira Invasion Plan."
After a month and a half of preparation and coordination—
they actually succeeded.
> "Yes! We did it! We've pinpointed the coordinates!"
Dr. Poison's eyes gleamed with wild excitement as she stared at her monitor.
> "We've found Themyscira!"
> "So… they've actually done it, huh?"
Alex's lips curved into a knowing smile.
The Crime Syndicate really was something.
Even this—they could pull off.
Then again, he wasn't too surprised.
After all, this organization was composed of Diana's greatest enemies—
some of whom had battled her for decades, even centuries.
Take Dr. Poison, for example.
The title wasn't just one person—there had been two generations.
The original Dr. Poison had already died in Wonder Woman's storyline,
and the current one was her granddaughter.
And Silver Swan? Even more extreme—
there had been three generations of her,
each one dedicating her life to opposing Diana.
With such an organization,
their knowledge of both Diana and Themyscira
far surpassed that of any ordinary human.
Although the "Themyscira Invasion Plan" had only officially launched a month ago,
it was the culmination of years of research and planning.
Once the moment was right, and their confidence was high enough—
they struck.
And now, they had found the island.
> "Move out! Commence the invasion of Themyscira!"
Dr. Poison's voice rang out with glee and arrogance.
Without wasting a breath, she assembled a strike force.
Moments later—
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—!
A fleet of fighter jets roared into the sky, vanishing into the clouds—
majestic and menacing.
> "Guess it's my turn, too."
Alex didn't waste words.
After a brief goodbye to Selina, his figure blurred and shot into the sky.
In the blink of an eye,
he left Gotham far behind, trailing the Syndicate's fleet from a safe distance,
his senses locked tightly onto them.
They flew silently over the vast ocean, cutting through mist and cloud.
Alex pushed his super senses to the limit,
trying to detect any anomaly—
but there was nothing.
Not a whisper, not a trace.
All he could do was patiently follow.
Until—
Whoosh!
The fighter jets ahead of him suddenly… vanished.
It was as if someone had taken an eraser to reality itself.
One moment they were there—
the next, gone.
Even their pilots' heartbeats and voices disappeared from Alex's super-hearing.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
More jets followed, vanishing one after another.
Alex's eyes gleamed.
> "Found it."
"That's Themyscira."
Only one thing could make that happen—
Themyscira's energy barrier.
No other explanation fit.
> "Well then… no reason to hesitate."
His speed surged, and in an instant—
Alex dove straight into the invisible space where the jets had vanished.
---
A flash of light.
And suddenly—
a new world unfolded before him.
Verdant mountains.
Crystal-clear waters.
Architecture that blended grandeur, elegance, and myth.
The air itself was so pure,
just breathing it felt intoxicating.
It was paradise—
a true Eden on Earth.
> So this… is Themyscira.
But that paradise was under siege.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Dr. Poison's fleet circled above the island,
unleashing missile after missile.
Explosions thundered.
Smoke and flame rose to the heavens.
> "We're under attack!"
"Amazons—follow me! Destroy the invaders!"
The Amazons rallied quickly, their voices fierce and resolute.
But against high-tech war machines, their bows and spears—
their ancient combat style—were tragically outdated.
Within minutes, Themyscira was burning.
Dozens of structures lay in ruins.
Alex watched quietly from above,
making no move to intervene.
Dr. Poison and her people would die, of course—
that was certain.
But not yet.
Right now, Alex had something more important to find.
> "The Mother Box…"
He activated his super vision and x-ray sight,
sweeping across the island in a single glance.
And then—his eyes lit up.
> "There it is."
"The Mother Box."
