Emily's pov
"Can you lower your cries?"I heard one of the prisoners ask,"You were alive and you watched them torture me?"I asked not thinking straight.
I heard them chuckle,they sit upright and faced me"you are no longer the highly princess Adelaide, you are nothing than a slave"the other one who looked more like a monster said.
They were right,am no more than a slave here,only if I wasn't suffering for what I knew nothing about,but who's gonna believe am not Adelaide or whatever her name is,I possessed her body, it's even more dangerous if they knew who exactly I am.
How could this prisoners help me?,I might have been stupid to think they'd help me,they weren't no difference from me,only that they don't get as much tortures as I do.
A lady walked in with a tray of what seemed to be food,my belly rumbled,it was then I realized how hungry I was.She knelt down before me as I watched her shed tears out of pity.she was a thin,slender lady with short hair,her skin dark and tanned and marks that inexplicably destroyed her face,probably from the same tortures I received.
"My lady, you've suffered"she says,applying some treatment to my wounds.I was too weak to reply her, I had thousands of questions I wanted to ask,but I found it hard to speak.she gently rubs my back as she feeds me with crumbs of bread, probably leftovers.
"You should be fast with It my lady, they'd kill us if they found out I came here"she says .
[Three days later]
Three days passed with the same thing happening,I hadn't seen the alpha again,but I got his messages of tortures repeatedly,as if he knows about my former maid who brings me crumbs of bread and treats my wound.He feeds the other two prisoners but never feeds me.
I wanted to die, I wanted to kill my self,my former world hasn't been easier either,having to deal and survive through my evil stepmother's plots every day,at least it was better than here where I suffered another's person sins.
The alpha walks in,his bergamot scent filling the room,i had to keep my eyes away from him to avoid falling into a world of mine and his.
"How is life treating you Adelaide?"He asks with a hint of mockery in his voice.I shot him a glare,he chuckles.He turns to walk away,"hey wait!!,let me out, I beg you!!, I'm tired "I said trying to seem as pitiful as I can.
"What did you say?,come again"Lucas says smiling sheepishly."I beg you,let me out...."I begged."Didn't you say no matter what I do to you, you won't beg for mercy?"Lucas asks.
"That's the former Adelaide you fool"I mumbled almost aloud."What did you say?"Lucas asks.
"I know that if I want to survive I have to beg,and am sure you are a merciful king right?"I said still looking above his head.
"Well,well,well... I'd agree but you've to become my maid"Lucas said grinning.
"Fine, I'd do anything "I said almost immediately.
LUCAS POV
I had made her the offer, thinking she wasn't going to agree.I knew her, Adelaide the most beautiful lady in all packs,she was an arrogant lady that carried herself with pride, she'd never let anything bring her down not even the fear of death.
She watched her father destroy my family,she watched him kill my mate that I'd only spent a week with, because of her father I became a monster, trying to put the two demons in me in check.
I'm going to destroy every bit of her family, I'm going to make her pay for her father's sins, for now I'm two weak for her father who has got two wolves and eleven packs,I can only use her as a bait.
Whether her father is willing to hand over is pack for her life depends on her fate.
"I need blood"one of the inner demons in me troy says."I need to fuck"kaiser the other said.
The both of them came into me the day I lost everything,and their thirst for blood and sex increases day by day, for a long time I haven't been able to speak to my wolf ,maybe it cox of how severely injured I was thanks to Adelaide's father, I'm going to make her pay.This is only the beginning.
Emily's pov
I'd been taken to the maids room,which was no much different from the slaves room,there were only two of us,I and my maid.
"I think his attitude was intentional,why didn't he you let you stay in the other maids room,their rooms are much better than this,and he wants you to work as his maid?,he has trespassed"daisy says.
"It's fine"Emily says looking at the tattered clothes she wore."Can I get a mirror?"I asked my maid.In my world I had been an ugly duckling, I have no doubt I was no difference In this world.
I looked into the mirror and got stunned beyond words."what??"
