The Potters are eating breakfast, a task made much easier now that the twins would feed themselves once the food was put on their plate. While eating a letter drops in front of them and Hermione grabs the letter, her hand trembling slightly as she does, and opens it.
Dear Harry and Hermione,
I hope this letter finds you well, because it does not contain the best of news. During the full moon all werewolves were summoned to a valley where Riddle gave a speech about having them join him for an attack.
Your friend,
Remus Lupin
Hermione passes the letter to Harry who reads it then shoves it in his robes. Both of the twins push their plates away, signaling that they are done. "Let's get you two to Daycare." Harry says.
"Lord and Lady Potter, what are you doing here?" Dumbledore asks as Harry and Hermione step into his office. "You're going to be late for class."
"We just wanted to make sure you were aware of certain things." Harry says as he hands Dumbledore the letter.
Dumbledore reads the letter and nods. "Miss Tonks wrote to me and included a vial of memories. You're welcome to come watch them after class."
"We'll take you up on that." Hermione says as they start out to their class.

Hermione runs her head as she wakes up, the feeling of an ice pick pushed through her eye not diminishing any. "Mione?" Harry worriedly asks his wife. "Are you okay?"
"I have a bad headache." Hermione says.
"Do you want to see Madam Pomphrey?" Harry asks.
"It's probably a withdrawal symptom." Hermione says. "The other day my hands trembled all day, remember?"
Harry nods, "but shouldn't you be getting better, not worse?"
"I don't know how this works." Hermione admits. "I could keep getting worse. Morgan made it obvious I wouldn't be able to resist calling the grimoire and right now I wish I could."
Harry hugs Hermione. "We'll beat this, I know we can."
Hermione nods. "Thanks."
"Now, pull on my magic through our bond, see if you can get rid of the headache." Harry instructs.
Hermione closes her eyes and pulls some of Harry's magic into her, her headache fading immediately. "Much better."
Everyone is enjoying the Halloween feast when a letter drops into the Potter patriarch's hands. He examines the envelope and seeing the Gringotts seal, cuts his finger on the seal and pulls out the missive inside.
Lord Potter,
Come see us as soon as possible.
Sharptooth, Curse Breaker
Harry chuckles slightly at the letter as he hands it to Hermione. "Daddy, evything okay?" Rose asks.
"Yeah, I just need to go see the goblins." Harry answers.
"I'd like to go with you." Hermione says.
"Sissy watch us?" Rose asks.
"Sissy?" Hermione asks, confused.
"Big sis." Iris says as she looks around the room. "Not here."
Harry looks around the room, all the students and faculty are accounted for, just when he's about to say so he realizes something. "Do you mean Shannon?" He asks.
Rose nods. "Shanna Sissy."
"I'll go ask." Harry says as he gets up, heads to the professors table, and stands in front of McGonagall.
"Can I help you Mister Potter?" McGonagall asks.
"Might I have a word with you, privately?" Harry asks.
McGonagall nods and they both step to the side of the room where McGonagall casts a privacy charm. "Is everything okay?"
"The goblins are asking for us to come immediately." Harry answers.
"You think it's regarding the diadem?"
"I can't think of anything else." Harry says. "We were hoping we could leave the twins with Shannon and use your floo."
"Of course." McGonagall says. "Send a patronus to Shannon and she'll unlock the door for you."
"Thank you." Harry says as he heads back to the table. "Everyone done eating?"
They all nod. "We see Sissy?" Rose asks.
"Yes, we're going to see Shannon." Harry replies.
Both girls shout: "Yay!" At the same time.
"Sissy!" Both toddlers yell as they run to Shannon and hug her.
Shannon hugs them back. "It's Shannon, remember?" She asks.
"Sissy better." Iris says.
"You don't have to correct them if you don't want to." Hermione says.
"You don't mind?" Shannon asks.
"As long as you're okay with it." Harry says.
"I am." Shannon says. "I think I always wanted a little sister, so now I have two."
"Then I hope you won't mind watching your little sisters while we take care of some business." Hermione says.
"Of course not." Shannon says.
"We appreciate it." Harry says as he and Hermione walk over to the floor.
Hermione grabs some floo powder. "Gringotts!"
Harry and Hermione step out of the floo and before they can even clean themselves off Sharptooth comes up to them. "This way." They quietly follow him through the tunnels to a small room.
"We're here, what's up?" Harry says.
"I'm afraid I have bad news." Sharptooth answers.
"The diadem?" Hermione asks.
"We regretfully where forced to destroy it." Sharptooth admits.
"What happened?" Harry asks.
"When we attempted to remove the horcrux from it the soul fragment attacked us." Sharptooth explains. "Three goblins were seriously injured in the time it took us to destroy the diadem."
"If I had known that any goblin could be hurt I would have had Harry destroy the diadem on sight." Hermione says.
"Lord Potter said the magic in the diadem was crucial." Sharptooth says.
"No magic is worth a life." Harry says. "I apologize if I made it sound otherwise."
"Is there anything we can do for the goblins that were hurt?" Hermione asks.
"No, they are already on the path to recovery." Sharptooth answers.
"Good to hear." Harry says. "Let us know if there's anything we can do to help."
"And us for you." Sharptooth says.
Harry and Hermione step through the floor into McGonagall's office. "Mister and Missus Potter, welcome back."
Hermione looks at McGonagall with tears in her eyes then runs off. McGonagall moves to go after her. "She needs some time." Harry says.
"What happened?" McGonagall asks.
"They destroyed the diadem, after it injured 3 goblins." Harry answers his voice barely a whisper.
McGonagall walks over to her desk and pulls out a flask and drinks from it before walking back and offering it to Harry. "Fire whiskey."
"Thanks." Harry says as he takes the flask and takes a drink before handing it back to McGonagall. "Where are the twins?"
"Shannon took them to bed, said she was going to stay until you got home." McGonagall answers.
Harry nods. "You know she's probably asleep."
"Aye, just leave her if she is." McGonagall says.
Harry nods. "In that case I'll go check on Hermione first."
"Very well." McGonagall says.
Hermione goes up to the Room of Requirement and enters the door when it appears. Inside the room is filled with hundreds of ceramic and glass objects of all shapes and sizes. Hermione pulls out her wand. "Reducto!" She shouts and the spell shatters a whole stack of plates.
"What exactly is this supposed to be?" Harry says, suddenly beside her, Hugin in his hand.
"I call it a rage room." Hermione answers as she casts the spell a few times destroying everything she hits. "I told the room I needed to vent some anger, so now I can."
Harry nods. "Can I join?"
Hermione nods. "Sure."
A/N: I originally was going to call this "Another One Bites the Dust", but the rage room made me change my mind
