Hermione is nursing Rose as Harry packs their trunks. Iris sleeps in a nearby bassinet, Loki lays watching her. 'Human babies are not like kittens, they can't even walk after two weeks.'
'They won't walk until they are about a year old.' Hermione replies. 'Even then it'll be years before they can take care of themselves.'
'But one day they'll come here and learn magic like you, right?" Loki asks.
'Correct.' Hermione says.
A knock at their door gets their attention. Harry stops packing and answers the door. "Professor McGonagall?" Harry asks as he opens the door to let her in.
"Harry!" Hermione screeches as tries to cover herself. "I'm not decent!"
"Missus Potter, you don't have anything I haven't seen before." McGonagall says.
Hermione sighs. "Sorry, I'm not used to the idea of people seeing me half naked."
"If you intend to keep breastfeeding you better get used to it. You'll have to be ready to feed them whenever, wherever, especially with twins." McGonagall says.
"I suppose you have a point." Hermione says.
"I'm sure you didn't come here to discuss breastfeeding." Harry says.
"No, I wanted to discuss something else with you." McGonagall says. "Your trip home to be precise."
"What about it?" Hermione asks.
"Do you two intend to take the train home with two newborns?" McGonagall asks in turn.
"I wasn't aware we had another choice." Harry replies.
"While we don't usually offer other options, I know you two have a pair of house-elves that have been helping you watch the babies. You could have them teleport you all directly home." McGonagall says.
"I think everyone on the train would prefer that." Hermione says. "What about returning next year?"
"I'll come visit you near the end of vacation and we'll discuss your options then." McGonagall answers.
"That sounds reasonable." Hermione says.

After packing Harry and Hermione have Winky and Dobby take them to their room in Granger house. "Let's have the twins meet their grandparents before everyone gets here." Harry says.
They grab their children and head out front. In the kitchen they find Richard, Helen and Claire. Hermione gasps. "Grandmum!"
"You didn't think for a minute I'd miss seeing my great-granddaughters did you?" Claire asks.
"I'm glad you're here." Hermione says as she carefully hugs her. "Now, let me introduce you to them."
#####
Ginny, Luna, Lavender, Amanda and Draco enter the normal train compartment. "Feels emptier without Harry and Hermione." Ginny says.
"We'll see them and the babies back at home." Amanda says.
"You will, I'm going back to the Burrow." Ginny says.
"Daddy set up the floo, so you can visit us often." Luna says.
"Us?" Ginny asks.
"Yeah, Daddy wrote to Helen and asked if I could stay for the summer. He's hot on the trail of the crumple-horned snorlack." Luna says.
"Then I'll definitely have to floo over." Ginny says.
"Good."
"Now, where are the others?" Amanda asks.
"We're right here." Ron says as he enters the car followed by Neville and Hannah.
"What took you?" Lavender asks.
"I was waiting for them." Ron says, Lavender nods.
"We were babysitting." Neville says.
"How does that work with Hermione breastfeeding?" Amanda asks.
Hannah blushes. "There's a spell that allows any girl to temporarily lactate. Neville got quite the show."
Neville kisses her. "I certainly did."
"Bet you are wishing you two could get married sooner now." Lavender says.
Neville blushes. "I wouldn't complain."
Hannah nuzzles Neville. "Me either."
"Aren't they cute?" Luna asks.
Lavender nods. "Though I'm kind of jealous."
"What do you mean?" Ginny asks.
"All of my friends in my year are either married or engaged." Lavender says.
"Harry, Draco and Neville all have family money." Ron says. "I don't have any way to support us, or I'd have already asked you."
"Then how have you been paying for our Hogsmeade dates?" Lavender asks.
"I've been doing odd jobs for Harry and Hermione to earn money. Mostly answering Harry's fan mail." Ron answers.
Lavender smiles. "That's so sweet." She kisses his cheek. "Is that why you've been working harder in school too?"
Ron nods. "I need to be able to find a decent job if I have any chance of supporting us."
"I could work too." Lavender says.
"If you want to, I won't stop you." Ron says. "But what about kids?"
"We'll figure it out when it happens. Fair?" Lavender asks.
Ron nods. "Here." Ginny says tossing something to Ron.
Ron catches it, he realizes it's a ring box. He opens the box and sees a simple silver ring with a small red stone. "This is Mom's engagement ring!"
Ginny nods. "She gave it to me right before second year. She said it was the closest thing she could give me to a dowry."
"Aren't you going to need this?" Ron asks.
"I'll be fine. Besides it's a Weasley ring, a Weasley should keep it." Ginny explains.
Ron nods and turns to Lavender. "I know this isn't the most romantic.."
"Yes, yes!" Lavender says as she grabs the ring and puts it on.

The train arrives at the station and everyone starts to get off. Lavender steps beside Ginny. "I wanted to thank you for this." She says to her.
"I wish I could do more." Ginny says.
"I know, but Ron wanting to stand on his own two feet is one of the things I like about him." Lavender says as she goes to catch up with Ron.
"Did you know that Harry gets enough fan mail to need someone else to answer it?" Luna asks as she steps beside the redhead.
"As little as Harry cares about fame he'd just as soon burn fan mail." Ginny says. "If he's having Ron answer fan mail he is looking for excuses to give Ron money."
"You think Ron knows?" Luna asks.
"Of course, but he at least feels like he's helping this way." Ginny says.
As they exit the train Ginny sees Molly and runs to her, hugging her tight. "I missed you too." Molly says.
"Sorry I've been gone so much Mum." Ginny says.
Molly hugs her back. "It's okay Ginny, it's part of having your children grow up." She looks around. "Speaking of children, where's Harry, Hermione and their children?"
"They got special permission to have their house-elves take them home." Ginny answers.
"I was hoping to see the babies." Molly says.
"We can floo over later." Ginny says. "Luna's father had one installed in Momma G's house. I'm hoping to visit a lot."
"You know you could just spend the summer with them." Molly says. "Harry is your family."
"You're my family." Ginny says. "So is Dad and the boys. Yes, I took the Potter name, but I'm still a Weasley, and don't you forget it. After all family is what you make it "
"Aye, it is." Molly says with a tear in her eye.
"Let me say bye, then we can go." Ginny heads back towards the others.
Meanwhile the others all head to the Grangers. "Hi, Aunt Helen." Amanda says as she hugs her
"Hi, Amanda." Helen says as she hugs her back. "We missed you during winter break."
"I missed you too, but it was good for Draco and I. We worked through a lot of things." Amanda admits.
"Does that mean I should be expecting grandnieces and grandnephews?" Helen asks.
"We're not quite there yet." Amanda admits, blushing heavily.
Ginny slips into the group and hugs Helen. "Wanted to say hi and bye, Momma G. I'm going to the Burrow with Mum"
Helen nods. "Take care, and feel free to visit when you want."
"I will." Ginny says as she breaks the hug. "By the way there's another appropriate name for you I don't think anyone has said yet."
"Oh?" Helen asks curiously.
"Grandmum!" Ginny says with a grin before running off to find her mother.
"She's been waiting to call me that, hasn't she?" Helen sighs.
"Of course she has." Amanda answers.
Luna taps Helen. "I wanted to thank you for letting me stay again."
"Luna, you're welcome anytime." Helen says.
"Thanks, Mum." Luna says as she hugs Helen, only to realize what she said and turn bright red. "Sorry."
"For what?" Helen asks, confused.
"I shouldn't have called you Mum."
"Nonsense, if that's what you want to call me it's fine." Helen says.
"Thanks." Luna says as she breaks the hug and they all head to the car.
