Chapter 7 - Triggering the HR

'Anyway we still haven't found the hidden route right ?'

"Obviously, just because that story doesn't recorded in the route, doesn't always means it's a HR"

Camera hovered lower, its lens dimmed a bit as it tried to process the data dump still running in the background.

'Anyway… we still haven't found the Hidden Route, right?'

TIS sipped his tea calmly.

"Obviously. Just because that story wasn't recorded in the route doesn't always mean it's a HR."

'Dang...'

Camera paused for a second.

"Found something?" TIS asked, noticing the slight flicker of Camera's lens.

'Yup,' Camera buzzed, slightly irritated.

'I scanned, and the alternate route just got obliterated for some reason.'

TIS widened his eyes. His hand froze mid-air, holding his cup.

"Wait—really? Since when?"

'Just before you helped Lance.'

TIS put his cup down carefully.

"Have you checked that route?"

'Yes. The main story of that route wasn't supposed to be destroyed like that. That has to be the HR affecting it, right?'

"100% HR," TIS nodded.

"But… we still can't find the HR."

Camera whirred in frustration.

'That's why I'm quite pissed off, bruh... The entire civilization on that omniverse route just wiped out directly.'

TIS leaned back, exhaling slowly.

"Dang…"

Camera rotated slowly, as if trying to find an answer somewhere in the ceiling.

'And we still haven't even found the slightest clue of the HR. Is it possible for the HR not to be located inside the Main Route?'

TIS shook his head, voice steady.

"That would be an IDC-like HR. No."

Camera froze again.

'...I don't like this.'

TIS gave a small smile.

"Neither do I."

TIS reached behind him, gripping the hilt of his sword.

With one clean, fluid motion, he slashed through empty space.

The air itself folded, warping as if sliced open — and in its place, a swirling rift formed, glowing faintly blue at the edges.

"Let's go," he said, voice calm as ever.

Camera hesitated, its lens twitching.

'The Main Character… has a law-breaking ability. That's basically Tier 1-A, at least. In the end of the Route, he reaches omniversal level.'

TIS stepped toward the portal without blinking.

"Just try."

Camera buzzed louder now.

'Oh dear… your tier is literally 9-B. What the heck?'

TIS smiled.

"That's why I bring snacks."

Without another word, he walked straight into the portal.

Camera hovered for half a second longer, then sighed.

'Why am I even following this...'

And zipped in after him.

The portal closed behind them with a soft hum —

and the world shifted
