Chapter 1 - Orien’s sickness

Chapter 1

He woke up in his bed, feeling drained, which confused him. He knew something was seriously wrong because this had never happened before. He tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over him. He flopped back down, his arm covering his forehead. He pondered about what he should do, but his mind kept wandering towards a certain someone. He grabbed his phone and dialed their number. Once, twice, three times and then they answered." Are you alright? You never call in the morning" Came a voice, it sounded grumbly like they had just woken up. He tried to speak, but all that came out was a croke." you're sick, aren't you Orien". Orien coughs trying to clear his throat." I suppose". He heard a giggle from the other end of the line." alright, I'm on my way"

Ray woke up to the sound of his phone buzzing, curiously he picked it up. On his contacts he saw "Orien". Ray was a bit worried. Orien never really called this early in the day. Normally he would still be in bed. He answered the call, optimistic. His smile faded as he listened. Orien was sick, quite sick at that. He quickly changed and left completely forgetting his hair tie. As he walked towards his car, he fell face-first onto the ground. He winced slightly but quickly got back up and continued to the car.

When Ray arrived he rushed into the palace not bothering to clean his face. Meanwhile Orien waited, the signs of a migraine appearing. He knew that Ray was close, he could feel it. He was a demon after all. long white hair, beautiful crimson eyes with a tall, fairly masculine frame and very pale skin. And you can't forget a tail, skinny with a pointed tip. He also had horns, beautiful ones that had curves and lines visible. Both the tail and horns were a gorgeous shade of black, he could hide them at a moments notice. The only ones who knew were his family, because they were also demons, and Ray.

Orien glanced over to the door. As he realised Ray had knocked. "can I come in?" questioned a voice, presumably Ray. "You may enter." Glad that Orien replied he entered the room. Orien smiled at the sight of his beloved partner but that soon turned to concern as he saw the scratches and blood on Ray's face. "What's that look for Orien?" asked Ray. "Your face...what happened? Who hurt you?!" Ray chuckled to himself (this man , who's tough exterior makes him seem so cold, can really be protective) he thought. "don't worry Orien, I just fell on my way here and forgot to wash my face. I can clean it now if it makes you feel better?" Orien nodded in reply while Ray went to the bathroom to wash his face.

A few minutes later Ray appeared looking refreshed. He headed towards his bag and opened it revealing a collection of medicines that he had brought for Orien. Orien looked puzzled "what are those?" Ray turned around and saw his puzzled look. He paused for a moment thinking of a good way to describe medicine and how it works without it seeming unhinged or chaotic. "there things that you ingest to help . For example this one relieves pain. This one stops the need to throw up. Excetra " as Ray pointed to each jar, Orien grew even curious. He tried to sit up to get a better look at them but Ray pushed him down again. Orien's heart fluttered as it skipped a beat.(I love this man…I would die for him. He is beautiful, like the sun reincarnated itself into him.) Ray indeed was as bright as the sun. He had navy blue hair down to his knees with almost white eyes. He wasn't as tall as Orien but he wasn't short either. He was slim. He lived by himself. with no relatives left he barely had enough money to spare.

When Orien regained his composure, Ray was already by his side. He gave Orien a cup of water and the correct medication. He also made him have one to help dissipate any further migraine. He than told Orien to rest. And that he would stay by his side until he had recovered. Soon after they both fell asleep, there hands intertwined.
