The rest were already there, with the showrunner present.
She smiled at us as we entered the room.
"There you two are."
We ignored her and went to join the others.
"Good morning, everyone," the showrunner beamed. "Did you all sleep well?"
A few murmured responses followed. No one was thrilled about the whole game dilemma. And Aaliyah was the most pissed.
"You guys can just relax and have a pool day today. But before I free you to go about your daily activities, you will need to guess who your card was about."
Brittany groaned. "Guess I'll start."
All eyes fell on her.
"So according to the card I received," she paused and looked up at the showrunner. "One of you has schizophrenia."
Silence followed. It was a heavy one.
Brittany still locked eye contact with the showrunner who only smiled in return.
The showrunner tilted her head. "And which one of your housemates do you suspect is mentally ill?"
"What the…?" Eva muttered.
