Chapter 6 - I Became a Professor

S-Class was for nobles and accepted commoners. Anyone could join if the professor agreed.

Every kingdom started a meeting to discuss the new class.

The representatives were:

Kingdom of Thalvarin (Elven Kingdom): King Thalendir Thalvarin, one of the most powerful marksmen on the continent Kingdom of Dravencia: Queen Kaela van Dravencia Kingdom of Valderan: King Godric Valderan Kingdom of Lysenthos: King Leontius Lysenthos Kingdom of Sylgard (Demihuman Kingdom): King Rhaegor Sylgard Kingdom of Elarion: King Reiner von Elarion The Kingdoms Overview:

Kingdom of Elarion: The heart of magic and academic excellence. Known for its prestigious Royal Academy, magical breakthroughs, and political influence. This is where Lionel lives and became a professor.

Kingdom of Valderan: The military stronghold. Home to elite knights, fortified cities, and a proud warrior culture. They honor discipline and swordsmanship.

Kingdom of Lysenthos: The wind-blessed trade empire. A coastal, merchant-rich nation with influence over air and water magic. Their ships dominate the trade routes.

Kingdom of Dravencia: The frontier wall. Constantly under siege by monsters from the wilderness and corrupted lands. A harsh, survivalist society with strong monster hunters.

Kingdom of Thalvarin (Elven Kingdom): The forest of eternal twilight. A hidden realm ruled by ancient high elves. Deeply spiritual and magical, they live in harmony with nature and are cautious of outsiders.

Kingdom of Sylgard (Demihuman Kingdom): Land of beasts and unity. A powerful nation where beastkin, dragonfolk, and other demihumans coexist. Known for their raw strength, tribal customs, and a Council of Clans.

They brought up the topic of requirements to join the S-Class.

"How about children who have reached level 20 at a very young age? Nowadays, there are many strong children too," the representative of Thalvarin suggested.

"You all know that Lionel is also a master of magic and every department available, except for alchemy and blacksmithing. He also has every aptitude for magic," the representative of Elarion responded.

"Oh, really!" the representative of Thalvarin replied. "How about this? We separate the schedule by which classes will be trained each day?"

"That's a good idea," the representative of Sylgard responded. "My son also wants to attend. He meets the requirements because he's already level 30. His specialty is swordsmanship. I think that's good!"

"How about this? Every session has different classes, and each day has two classes. The other classes that won't be attending that day will be given assignments," the representative of Valderan suggested.

"Yes! I follow Valderan's suggestion!" the representative of Elarion replied. "Are there any objections?"

"That's okay. The class will start in a week!" the representative of Thalvarin responded.

"Well then, let the best class begin!" everyone shouted.

A week passed after the meeting. The class finally started, and the students came to class very early.

Oh, right. I have class today, so I must prepare. Today is the session for swordsmanship and spears, Lionel thought.

In the classroom, the students were very early and excited about what the professor would be like.

"My father said he's still very young! And handsome too!" one of the students said.

"Hey! My sister said he's very handsome! My sister Seraphina met him in the forest and saw how powerful he is!" Princess Arwen von Elarion responded. She was Seraphina's sister and still fifteen years old.

In this world, fifteen years old was considered an adult.

"Hey, hey! There are rumors about him being an angel," the daughter of Dravencia, named Kaela van Dravencia, responded. "My father was at the scene when that huge beam of light descended!"

"Yeah! Maybe you're right about that! My father said his sword glows more than the hero's sword!" Princess Arwen replied.

In Lionel's quarters, as he prepared for the day, he wore a different outfit than usual—an elegant ensemble of deep blue and silver, tailored with the grace of nobility and the subtle strength of a warrior. His wings remained hidden, tucked away beneath the flowing cloak draped over his shoulders like a veil of twilight.

"This will be good enough. No, this is more than good—this is great! Okay, I'll go now!" Lionel said to himself.

After a few minutes from the castle where he stayed, he finally arrived at the academy's gate. Many people were looking at him.

"Wow! Look at that guy. He's wearing such expensive clothing!" one male student murmured.

"Wow! Isn't he handsome!" one female student murmured.

"I heard he's the new professor for S-Class!" another female student murmured.

"Really! Wow, I wish I was strong enough to join S-Class!" one male student said.

"I also heard that he specializes in every department!"

They kept looking at Lionel, amazed by how elegant he was and that he was actually a professor.

After a few minutes of walking, he finally found the S-Class classroom. The classroom was big, even from the outside, because there were currently sixty-nine students—the strongest children of nobles and commoners.

Lionel opened the door, and as soon as he got inside, everyone looked at him.

"Ohhh!" everyone responded. "Good morning, Professor!" Everyone greeted him. After the greetings, the girls were murmuring and whispering about how handsome he actually was.

"Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself. My name is Lionel, and I'm the new sword master of the Right Tower and the new professor for the S-Classes!" Then he continued, "Our session right now is about swordsmanship and spearmanship! I will teach you my techniques and how to properly execute movements. No matter how strong or weak you are, you can easily defeat opponents in one hit!"

Then everything went silent.

"Is that even possible, Professor?" one of the students asked.

"Yes, it is possible. In order to defeat every opponent in one hit, you must know how to read their movements and techniques. Today I will teach you how I easily do it."

While teaching, Lionel wrote on the board, and everyone was focused and impressed.

"In order to do it, you don't need strength. You must balance your core. Everyone has the basic skill called Wind Slash, right?" Lionel asked.

"Yes, Professor!" everyone answered.

"You can make it actually more powerful than you imagined at your level. I will demonstrate it after this lesson in the practical session! You all know that Wind Slash stops once it hits an opponent at your current level, right?" Lionel asked again.

"Yes!"

"What if I tell you that you can make it continue traveling for a long distance!" Lionel suddenly responded. Everyone was shocked since they thought it was only possible for high-level fighters. "You all know I could already use that skill at level 11, and it continued to travel too. That's why I leveled up so easily!"

"Professor, that's impossible at our current level!" the Princess of Elarion responded.

"It is possible! You all just put all your strength when you slash! You don't need strength—you need to know how to control it!"

As the lessons continued, they finished the first lesson about basic sword and spear techniques using Lionel's methods. Now he had many apprentices because this was the first time he taught his techniques.

After the lesson, as he promised, he showed a short demonstration of how to do it. Then he told them to try it. Shockingly, they all did it on their third try.

"I never knew about this! I thought it required a higher level!" Princess Kaela of Dravencia responded. "It also worked on spears too!"

After all the lessons, the day finally ended.

At their houses, each child told their parents how unique Lionel's techniques were—how difficult they seemed at first, but once you got used to them, you would be as strong as a level 50 monster.

As days and weeks went on, Lionel also taught his magic techniques. Many mages suddenly attended his teachings, even though they were already at higher levels and had completed the academy.

Swordsmen also attended his classes. After learning his techniques, only a few professional swordsmen and mages knew about his methods because he only approved his teachings for worthy people.

A year passed, and his first batch of students graduated. As they graduated, he gave them powerful swords and items made from his feathers.

He continued teaching other nobles and commoners in the second batch of students.

Then a disaster suddenly approached the academy.
