Chapter 57
"Hey, besh, are you okay?" Aya said to me. We're at their house now, her parents aren't there so she sent me over. Also, she and Kent had a fight! Do you think it's fashionable for Aya and Kent to have a real fight?!!
I nodded and then took out my notes. It's really dangerous right now. I'm okay with my other CA related courses but hehehe when it comes to Math and other subjects, it's so hard!!
Suddenly my phone vibrated so I looked to see who had texted.

Where are you?
I didn't even reply. You know, lately I've been suffocating with Drakel! Of course I'm happy because that means he really loves me because he texts me all the time where I am but because, if he texts me, it's like I'm going to get kidnapped!
"Who texted?" Aya said.
"Drake," I said.
Aya nodded. "Why didn't you reply?" I put both my arms on the table and bowed. Aside from Drake's texts which were a bit overrated, I was stressed about my subjects including Tripp. Haaay, my life is a mess, in all fairness!
"I don't know. Sometimes I'll tell him to put a tracking device on me so he can keep quiet."
Besh suddenly laughed. He was going crazy. Tsk. Because it was the first time they had fought for real with Kent, maybe he couldn't handle it so he broke down?
"You know, Besh, you've come a long way, right?" he said.
"Huh?"
"I mean, look, you used to be the one chasing Drake, you even forced him to be your boyfriend... and now look, he's the one chasing you... That's great, isn't it?"
I didn't comment. What can I say? That I'm happy because Drake is chasing me? Because the term is ugly, chasing... doesn't chasing mean that I'm running because he's chasing me? Is that the setup now?
"Hey," Aya said then she hugged me. I guess I took too long to think. I'm really a bit lost. It's only been 2 weeks, finals week. Add to that the fact that Drake and I are always together at night, and in the morning, Tripp is the one with me. I'm a pretty busy person.
"Hal, sorry, besh. I'm just a little confused!"
Aya laughed. "Tss. You're always so confused. Hahaha!"

He pulled me upright and then he put away his things. "There's an event at Brent today, right?" he said to me. I nodded, because this is the last event for the term, since it's almost over, the Student Council thought of holding an event.
"Come on, besh! Let's go!!"
"I don't want to, just you," I said. I'm also avoiding Tripp now, because I always try to tell him not to flirt with me anymore but when I'm about to tell him, he suddenly does something to stop it. I feel even more guilty! Even Shaira, I feel like I'm being super mean. Pugits is so kind to mel Just kidding, he brought me a basket of freshly picked strawberries to the condo and then what did Drake and I do? We ate them when he left, he even tempted me.
Jusko, I feel like my soul is burning down there!
In the end, she still dragged me. Aya is a bit of an Amazon so she can drag me wherever she wants. But I've also been dragged a bit. I miss this girl so much!!
He opened the gate of their house and then... Uh-oh.
"Aya..." Kent was outside their gate, his eyes still red. Come on!! Is the fight between him and Aya too much?!
Besh's eyes suddenly narrowed, a sign that he was annoyed.
"Why are you here, Mister Valdez?" Aya replied gruffly.
I was a little quiet on the side, I didn't want to talk because... the aura here. was too scary!! The aura was even worse when Drake looked at Tripp and me when we were walking to lunch. T^T
When they had been staring at each other for a few seconds, "excuse me," I said and then looked at both of them. "It seems like you guys have something else to talk about, uhh, I'll go first."
I walked quickly away and then hailed a cab! It was terriblel Their stares were intense!!
I had the driver take me to our house. I'm just going there, I don't want to go to Brent's, Tripp might be there and I'll have another guilt trip. I'm just going to review the house. I don't want to go to the condo either, Drake is there. I'm just going to stay at home, I'm safer here!
"Just stay here," I said when we arrived in front of our house. I walked in but the guard said something to me that surprised me forever!!
"Miss, someone is waiting for you inside..."
"Huh? Who is it?" I said. I didn't think anyone would be waiting for me here..
"She's called Katrina, she's waiting in your garden."

Right now: I'm in two minds, should I leave and go back to the condo or should I talk to Aunt Katrina?!
I was about to walk out when I saw him smiling at me from the garden. He had already seen me, I had no choice but to go to him....
"Auntie..." I managed to say. She made room for me next to her so i sat down. Aunt Katrina's belly is getting a bit big, when will she give birth? "Alys," she said.
"What?" I'm a little nervous. We just talked like this. This is serious, right? I mean, he even came to my house!!
She smiled and then placed her hand on mine. I have to admit, even though Aunt Kat's image to me is terrible, she really does look like an angel. Maybe her and Uncle Steve's child will be so handsome/beautifull
"How are you and Drake?"
"W-what?" I said, still stuttering a bit. That's... weird. Drake is her ex, and now we're secret lovers (?). Weird.
He smiled then looked up at the sky. "I know I don't have the least right to say this but, please don't hurt him."
Because of what he said, I looked at him. "What do you mean?"
"Alys, I know you know about me and Drake, and the mess it brought us. Learn from my mistakes, don't do it again."
I can't speak. What does he know?
"Please don't take this the wrong way, okay? I love Steve, I'm just worried about Drake right now. I know him, Alys. Steve and I went to his unit yesterday. Even if he didn't say anything, we knew Drake was in trouble..."
I still looked away. I couldn't look at Tita, I was still a little uncomfortable. "W-we don't have any problems," I lied. I didn't want her to be upset about our problems. I was really becoming a big liar.
He still smiled. He probably knew I was lying. Am I that obvious to lie? "Then it's good if you don't have any problems, Alys. Drake may look tough but inside, he's just vulnerable as everybody else. Please bear that in mind," he said, then smiled for the last time and stood up.
"Auntie," I said. She looked at me. "Thank you," I said even though I had no idea why I said it. Maybe it was because I was happy that she was concerned about Drake and me...
"No problem," she said back. Before she left, I asked her about the baby.
"What is your name and gender?"
He touched her tummy then smiled so beautifully. "A boy, and his name's Ethos Sebastian Palma. I hope he'll be as smart as his brother," he said. And I hope he won't be as complicated as his brother, I said.
Aya's POV
"Bee naman!" Kent said. Argh!! If I hadn't really promised myself that I would try to be kind to this piece of land, I probably would have scratched it a while ago!! Mommy even took me to the nail spa before she left. Grrr, KL's face wouldn't be bleeding right now!
He chased me into the house. Besh left because... it's good that he left. I don't want him to see me and KL fighting. Ew! LQ?? Disgusting!!
He grabbed my hand before I could slam the door in his face. "Hey... I'm sorry."
I tried to remove his hand from my arm. "Kent, I wish you had thought about what was coming out of your mouth so you wouldn't be apologizing now."
He put his two hands together and made a please sign in front of me. "I'm really sorry, Bee... I'll never do that again!"
"Why is that stuff coming out of your mouth? Me and CB?! You're so stubborn about what you're saying!!" I shouted at him. It's a good thing mommy isn't here otherwise... it's embarrassing!
He held one of my hands, kissed it, and then showed me his silly smile again!
"Sorry, honey... I'm just jealous of Sheen."
"You're so disgusting, Kent! Me and Sheen? Has your brain melted in Economics?!"
Ugh! I'm a little horrified by what he's saying!!
"You guys are always together... I'm just jealous...
"You're jealous over nothing. Yuck, CB's not my type!"
Even though it was a little faint, I heard what he said. "What if you're Sheen's type?"
Haaay. I give up. I approached Kent and shot him. "I'm not Sheen's type, okay? Besides, you're my boyfriend. Isn't that enough?"
He shook his head.
"Father! Choose still!"
He smiled again. "Tell me first, I love you so much, Kent!"
I pretended to be sick in front of him. "Where are you?"
He laughed. "That's why I love you so much, you have such a bad attitude. Come on, let's go on a date."

Slowly, carefully, I walked to my unit. Now, I regret why my unit was at the end of the hallway. I need to be careful!
"Alys."
Haaay. Failed again.
"Hi, Drakel!" Insert a big smile here. "There you are!"
"Are you hiding from me?" Insert todo iling here. "And so why haven't you replied to any of my texts since this morning?"
I put down my grocery items and looked him straight in the eyes. "Alone time. Come on, Drake. I must miss you sometimes too!"
Coast is clear!
