"I'm fine. It's just a minor fracture," Garrett insisted, though his pale face said otherwise. He realized it had been years since he'd felt the searing pain of a broken bone. Experiencing it now made him acutely aware of the agony Rachel must have endured when all her fingers were shattered. Her pain must have been ten, a hundred times worse than this.
