"Alright then, let's date," Josephine said with a resigned tone. After all, she was bound to face some kind of revenge; at least this way, she could mentally prepare for it. "Uh, can I have my phone back now?"
She hadn't forgotten that the main reason she followed him to the villa was to get her phone.
He stared at her for a second before tossing the phone, which was on the coffee table, over to her.
"Ah!" she gasped, barely catching it.
That phone cost her ten thousand bucks, and she bought it with so much hesitation.
If he'd thrown it and it hit the floor, fixing the screen would have cost more than two thousand.
Just thinking about it gave her chills!
And if it did break, there's no way she'd dare ask him to pay for it!
Josephine opened her phone and looked at the time.
It was already past 9 PM, and she saw a bunch of missed calls from her parents. She quickly dialed home.
