"Hmm," Eli nodded.
Lily wanted to say something to Eli about Riette Lellen, so she said, "I respect him and I love him too. I hope I can prove my worth to him."
"You will" Eli replied.
The two of them continued talking about their lives, how they had lived so far, and the things that had happened.
After a while, Grandpa Allen woke up from his sleep. The two of them took him for a walk. The place they entered was behind the hospital. It was set up like a garden for patients to come out for a breath. There were different kinds of plants around them and there was a dew on some of them after a rainy day.
They three felt so refreshed after they came here. Grandpa Allen told Lily about his love story with Alicia Allen. He was very softened as he remembered his late wife and their memories. A smile was shining in his eyes and a grin was flashing on his face.
Lily laughed a lot when she heard what Grandpa Allen had done to woo his wife.
An hour later, they went back to the hospital room. The doctor came and examined Grandfather Allen. Butler David also returned to the hospital.
Grandpa Allen asked the doctor to discharge him. The doctor agreed that he was fine and that he could recover at home. So, Grandpa Allen's discharge was set to the next morning
Eli told Lily that he would talk to the doctor to confirm Grandfather Allen's condition. Lily nodded and Eli left the room.
After Eli left the room, Grandfather Allen said to Lily, "Lily girl, You can rest assured. He's never let you down. He's always by your side. If he ever makes you angry or hurts you. You can come to me and I'll give him a good beating."
Lily's cheeks turned slightly pink, she smiled at him, defending Eli, "You too, rest assured Grandfather and he'll never give you a chance to beat him Grandfather."
"Hahaha, if he does, I don't mind taking a DNA test on him to confirm if he's my real grandson." Grandfather Allen replied.
"Then, I'll join my hands with you and hunt him down to hell for taking my husband's place ~" Lily said and was surprised to hear herself address Eli as her husband. She didn't understand why, but it seemed like a very familiar way for her to address him to others like this.
Grandfather Allen raised his eyebrows and commented. "You two really are a pair. He already calls you his wife. Look, now you're calling him your husband too."
Lily looked at grandfather Allen and reminisced about the moment when Eli called her as his wife "Yes, I am lucky to finally meet my wife." Lily felt her whole body spread through a warm vibe and thought about the word he said 'FINALLY'.
Lily snapped out of her thoughts and asked Grandfather Allen "Then, can I marry him Grandfather?"
Grandfather Allen was a little surprised but immediately thought that she was asking his permission to marry Eli. So he replied with a gentle smile, "Yes, you can. My blessings will always be with both of you. You two decide and tell me when you want to get married, and I will personally arrange the grand wedding of the two of you."
Lily understood that Grandfathr Allen didn't understand her meaning, so she asked him again with a new added word, which shocked him. "Can I marry him tomorrow, Grandfather?"
Lily didn't know where her courage came from to ask something like that, but she did. Butler David and Grandfather Allen were really shocked and didn't respond for a few minutes.
"Grandfather" Lily called him gently. Grandfather Allen snapped out of his stunned expression and asked her "Are you sure, Lily girl?"
Lily blinked at him and nodded her head vigorously. "I'm! Certainly."
