Turning his back to the three Zodiac members, he discreetly checked his phone, hidden by his cloak.
'Not done yet?' He let out a soft breath. Turning back, he said, "I only returned to see Chairman Netero again."
"Only to see me?" Netero clearly sensed Loki was lying. Netero's aura surged.
'Of course, you can't lie to Netero.' Loki's eyes flickered.
"Chairman Netero doesn't believe me?"
"After all, you taught me Nen. You are my master, and I am your disciple!"
The words "master" and "disciple" calmed Netero's aura. Netero looked away, silent for a moment before speaking slowly.
"Little Loki, I'm not easily swayed by emotion."
While he said he wasn't swayed, Netero was clearly affected. The master-disciple bond made it hard for him to act. "Then let me state my true intentions."

Declaring war on the Hunter Association is tantamount to declaring war on the world." Loki's lips curled into a smile.
"And that is what I intend to do next!"
Silence descended. Mizaistom and Botobai were speechless. Such a declaration was unheard of, even among the Zodiacs.
Netero stared at Loki. After a long moment, convinced Loki wasn't lying, he spoke slowly.
"It seems your power has led to your downfall, little Loki."
"Is that what you believe, Chairman Netero?"

"It seems you're prepared to fight me." Netero smiled faintly. "Kid, do you truly understand what fighting me means?"

"You will die. Are you not afraid?"

'I spent decades reaching this level... this kid, in such a short time... using this method...' Loki, in Overdrive Death Mode, had orange eyes, devoid of emotion—calm, serene.
By minimizing emotional fluctuations, he achieved a state of near-vegetative calm, a natural state that amplified his aura immensely.
Netero had spent decades cultivating this state, honing his mental fortitude. Loki, a Nen user for only about half a year, had already achieved this. At such a young age, he surpassed 98% of Nen users. This terrifying talent shook even Netero.
"Chairman, you seem surprised," Loki's voice suddenly echoed, accompanied by the sound of footsteps. Loki appeared before Netero. Netero's expression hardened.
"Loki, your talent is the most exceptional I've ever seen in a human."
"Is that so? Thank you for the compliment, Chairman."
Netero shook his head. "Unfortunately, I failed to guide you properly. That is my fault." Netero's gaze sharpened.
"To leave you unchecked... you will one day become a threat to the entire world."
"Therefore..." Netero gathered Nen in his hands.
"I must eliminate you!"
Loki, having reached this level, possessed immense untapped potential. This situation left Netero with no choice but to act.
If Loki continued to grow, he would soon surpass Netero, making elimination far more difficult.
He had to strike while Loki was still a fledgling.
