Uvogin and Nobunaga Hazama's eyes lit up simultaneously. They exchanged a look and sat down at the table.
"No wonder I smelled something delicious when I came in," Uvogin chuckled. "I thought it was my imagination."
Nobunaga nodded slightly. "Let's wait and see."
After they sat, Orion produced the Gourmet Table Cloth and spread it on the table.
"Where did you get that?" They wondered if it was a trick, then focused on the cloth.
Uvogin: "It's pretty."
Nobunaga: "Yeah, it could fetch a lot of black rice."
"Anything you'd like to eat?" Orion asked before ordering.
"Surprise us!" Uvogin said generously.
"Alright then," Orion smiled, snapping his fingers. "Let's start with two roast suckling pigs."
As soon as he spoke, two golden-brown, perfectly roasted suckling pigs appeared on the cloth. The aroma filled the room.
"Gulp!" A loud swallow was clearly heard.
"This is… roast suckling pig?!" Nobunaga and Uvogin stared, mesmerized by the pigs.
"Mmm!" Nobunaga Hazama smacked his lips. Uvogin wiped his drool. Even Machi, though full, swallowed involuntarily.
"Please," Orion gestured.
Uvogin and Nobunaga Hazama hesitated. If it were slightly better than black rice, they wouldn't hesitate. But the aroma was too enticing, the desire too strong. And the sudden appearance of the pigs was unnerving.
They looked at Machi, who didn't object.
"Eat!" Uvogin grabbed a leg.
"I don't know how this appeared, but since you're treating us, I'll eat my fill!"
Nobunaga Hazama nodded. "Even if there's a problem, I'll accept it!"
He put down his sword and dug in.
Uvogin took a bite and paused.
"Delicious!!" His eyes shone brightly. He startled Nobunaga.
"Keep it down!" Nobunaga complained, though he also admitted it was delicious.
Uvogin devoured his pig leg, bones and all. His bite force was impressive.
"Mmm," Uvogin smacked his lips, clearly wanting more. He eyed Nobunaga, who had almost finished his pig.
Uvogin grinned, revealing sharp teeth. He saw his chance. With lightning speed…
WHOOSH!
Nobunaga's remaining leg was now in Uvogin's hands.
Nobunaga Hazama: "…!!" He stared at his empty plate, then at Uvogin gnawing on the leg.
"Uvogin!!" He roared. "You'll pay for this!!" He grabbed his sword.
"Let me finish this first!" Uvogin mumbled, quickly finishing the leg. "Okay, bring it on!"
Nobunaga watched Uvogin swallow.
"My leg!!" Nobunaga screamed.
"It's just a leg," Uvogin said, then added, seeing Nobunaga's rage, "I'll get you another one."
"Another?!" Nobunaga threw his scabbard aside. "You owe me a leg! How will you repay me?!"
Machi sighed, about to intervene. She knew they'd fight and make up, but… this is her house!
"Alright, don't fight over a pig," Orion stepped forward, snapping his fingers. "I said I'm treating you. Pigs, unlimited!"
Two more roast suckling pigs appeared.
Nobunaga and Uvogin exchanged a look.
Fight? No way!
Simultaneously, Nobunaga tossed aside his sword, and Uvogin grabbed another leg. The issue was resolved when Uvogin gave Nobunaga a leg.
"Burp," both said, stuffed and slightly nauseous.
"I… I can eat more," Uvogin mumbled, mouth greasy.
"You'll turn into a pig if you keep eating!"
