The howling wind flowed gracefully into the big room, the curtains were moving according to the wind, giving the atmosphere a vulnerable and chilly one, a teenager lay flat on the bed, it seemed the wind was interfering with his dream or was it something else, "leave me, leave me" he murmured slowly under his breath while turning and rolling on the bed, squinting his eyelid tightly, the wind blew in form of a ghost speeding up to attack him, he sharply inhaled and scream, simultaneously waking up from his all the nights scary dream, he quickly turned on the lamp that was on a side table beside the bed, he was already getting scared, beads of sweat formed on his forehead, his dreams were like dangerous nightmares, he couldn't wrap his head around all these numerous dreams.
"Hey son, you getting those creepy nightmares?" his father said while striding in his direction, with a glass of water, before sitting on his bed. "Yeah", "just take a deep breath and drink this, it will all be fine soon, just go back to bed, it's still…..." he said before glancing at the alarm clock that hanged gracefully on the colorful stickered wall "2 am, just sleep well, we waking up early tomorrow for your new school", his father added before leaving the room.
Damien sat in the back car, his face wasn't promising and his heart sank so deep, he couldn't figure out why but he was a bit scared, today was his first time in college, according to his dad, it was a normal school for kids, but according to dark research, it was a magic school and according to him, it was the worst decision ever, he has always wanted to continue life at the out sketch of Eri-doria, with longtime friends, but his father woke up to him with this and that….
"Hey boy, don't get all nuts about it, trust me it's gonna be fine," he said while staring at him through the rear mirror in the car, Damien's mind was void, he barely heard what his father said, "Damien" his father raised his voice a bit, flicking Damien out of his trance. "I'm… not that sad about the school, but I don't get the point of going to Eri-doria in the first place, Dad," Damien lamented, but his father was still, he said nothing but drove off with speed.
Damien raised his head a little bit as his eyes glared at the largely written name of the school, 'Eri-doria High School'. Just then the gates began to open slowly until it was wildly opened, just as his father drove inside, he felt a sudden chill going down his spine, and a whisper suddenly flew into his ears, getting the words, said, "Welcome Home", he looked up and stared at the tall building they were driving towards, his eyes caught a glimpse of someone watching him from the window at the top floor, he felt as if he had been here serval times, scanning the wild field and tall buildings, different artifacts and statues brought his mind to one thing which was his weird dreams, his mind was void, just then his mind became blurry, he couldn't get any much info, as if his memory was wiped, he was finally there.
But he knew something big was coming!
"Damien, we're here already," his father said. Stepping down from the car, two men dressed in classy royal guard uniforms came up and assisted them with their luggage, meanwhile, Damien and his father headed up to Principal K's office.
Eri-doria High School, the status of the building is quite expensive, royalty is its second name, an institution of powers, a place where powers are born and trained up, no unworthy being is allowed in the school, a place where even the dead stays inside every statue and watches your every step, where no one is trusted, every single being here has their role to play, but luckily only a few are trusted and many are deceitful.
Principal K's words sent a great chill down Damien's spine, as he stared at his father's face, who seemed even more terrified than him, "Okay! And with that, you shall be assigned to your new room, Damien," Principal K added as their meeting concluded with those words.
"See, Damien, it's not as bad as we thought, come on cheer up," Oscar said, "but dad did you hear all she said, that was so terrifying," Damien said, "well I did though, but.." he said before Damien interrupted, "it's cool, it's fine, I'll stay" Damien concluded which brought a sly smile on his father lips, unknowing to them, Principal K watched closely at the two of them from her window, after some seconds, she shut the window, walking majestically with all glory to her seat she smiled so evil, it seemed like she had a lot of plans installed, "Just perfect, everything's working according to plan." she said slowly, "Gerald, go get me Elizabeth Quin", she said to her assistant to stood still at the door before exiting to get the girl demanded.
"Damien, I'm going to see you soon, don't worry about me, okay, I'm gonna be fine. Just be a good boy, okay!" his dad said, "fine, I will, bye" Damien added before his father drove out of Eri-doria High School, leaving Damien all alone, just as he was about to leave his spot, a soft tap landed on his shoulder, he turned around as his eyes fell on this girl, her beauty was extraordinary, he was already into her, her ocean eyes brought out the sparkles, her skin was fair and smooth, he had never seen such beauty before, her smile was bright "My name is Elizabeth Quin and you are?
