A satisfied grin spread across Kathryna's face as she peered through the binoculars, as she watched Anna stagger backward and crumble to the floor, with the pictures in hand.
The rush of triumph surged through her veins, as she shrieked with excitement. "Yes! Plan A worked!"
Sophie, who had been pacing anxiously on the rooftop beside her mother, turned to face her squarely.
"Did she pick the envelope?" She rushed forward
"Yes," Kathryna said with a nod. "She has seen the pictures already."
Kathryna was about to grab the binocular from where it was installed when it turned backward, and in an instant, the heavy instrument plunged down toward the edge of the eight floor apartment building.
Kathryna's breath caught in her throat, as they both peered down at the shattered remnants scattered across the pavement.
The sound drew the attention of a man standing in the shadow near Anna's apartment entrance.
