"I can't even land a proper job, everyone still hates me. How am I supposed to survive this—how am I supposed to stop more harm—if I can't even uncover the truth about the man who wanted my life completely? Argh…This is killing me," she grunted, adjusting her glasses.
Asking his assistant would be useless, and meeting her sister was impossible. Too risky.
"Only Father knows enough, but his recovery is too slow. Should I wait a little more?" she whispered, leaning back against the pillar.
She set the phone down on the threshold while her headphones rested across her ears and was playing her favourite music that usually did much in easing her mood.
Even if she was still upset with him for his mischievous deeds earlier, she couldn't stop caring about him. Show him she truly meant by staying by his side.
