Chapter 17: Scouting the Goblin Fortress
The forest was dense, the air thick with the scent of damp earth and rotting leaves. Srabon, Mira, and the Builder moved silently, eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
"We're close," Mira whispered, crouching low behind a bush. "I can see the Goblin Fortress up ahead."
Srabon peered through the foliage. In the distance, a massive stone fortress loomed, surrounded by wooden spikes and patrolling goblin guards. The structure was much larger than Srabon had anticipated.
"That's not just a camp," the Builder said, his jaw clenched. "That's a stronghold."

Srabon pulled up the system map, marking the location of key structures: watchtowers, barracks, and a central hall adorned with ominous skulls. "We need to get closer, but stay hidden."
Mira nodded, drawing her bow. "I'll keep watch."
As they crept forward, the ground suddenly trembled. A low, guttural roar echoed through the trees. Srabon's heart raced. "What was that?"
The Builder's face was pale. "That... sounded like a giant."
Mira swallowed, her grip tightening on her bow. "We need to get back to the village. Fast."
Srabon nodded. "Let's go. We've seen enough."
