Court activities for the two Vice-Lords were expectedly suspended for the day as the twin sisters took their three sisters-in-law on a tour around Cowle City.
They, of course, knew the best hotspots to visit in the city, and they surely took their sisters-in-law to far better locations than the quick tour Alex and his wives had.
Alex, on the other hand, wasn't invited.
The true lord of the domain remained behind at the Lord's Manor in order not to get in the middle of the bonding time between his wives and sisters.
Having had no family to speak of in his previous life, a part of him strongly wanted to make the family he had gained in this life work. And so, he was willing to set the stage for the most important people in his life to get along, if he could help it.
Since he couldn't just remain idle, Alex did what he mostly did—work.
Since the Chamberlain was available, Alex had her bring him up to speed on the state of the domain.
