alex would have woken up seeing the little riolu still asleep in his arms, Alex would get out of the shallow tree stretching a little before seeing the riolu beginning to think about how he would wake riolu up
after some time riolu would wake up immediately jumping out of alex's grasp riolu would begin to growl, but Alex would smile "come here little one, do you have hunger?" *Alex would take out the Oran berry offering it to riolu "be my friend and I will give it to you, do you accept?" riolu would look at the Oran berry his stomach grumbling, but after some time it would grab it eating it "are we friends now?" riolu would look at Alex's before looking at other side but it would make a small grunt "so he has a big ego?" Alex would thought
"okay little one show me you're attacks" riolu would look at Alex before making all the attacks he knew "quick attack, feint, metal claw, counter and force palm, like I thought in this world it is not limited to only 4 moves" they are not bad moves Alex would thought "okay little one you have very good moves, but for now I need you to protect me and in exchange I will give you food, do we have a deal?" Alex would give his hand to riolu who would accept "Rio" riolu would say "okay then let's begin exploring" with riolu in front of him Alex would begin to walk along the forest looking for dangerous Pokemons or places where he could sleep or eat, while walking he would find a cave but he wouldn't enter it was far too dangerous.
after exploring for some time a wild Pokemon would attack them it would be a scyther "shit, riolu, metal claw!" Riolu would ignore alex's command and it would just do a force palm, not being effective against scyther "riolu hear me!" riolu would ignore Alex again, attacking this time with quick attack, that Scyther resisted well "what can I do if he doesn't listen to me?" Alex would ask himself while looking at the fight "riolu I Know you don't trust on me but please use metal claw or you're gonna lose!"
riolu looking at Alex would growl but he would hear giving Scyther a metal claw on the chest making Scyther almost faint, sensing the danger Scyther would begin to fly running away from the battle "yes!" Alex would celebrate his first real pokemon fight winned "you did it incredible riolu" Alex would hug riolu tightly but riolu would push him off standing on the floor "okay, okay I will give you space" Alex would begin to walk again finally finding some more berry's particularly Oran berry's "go grab some riolu"
riolu would grab some Orran berry's beginning to eat them "hey riolu we should find somewhere to sleep this night, we can't stay on that shallow tree", riolu would begin to walk to somewhere "where are you going riolu?" Alex would follow riolu trough the forest
after some time riolu would stop at the front of a cave "is this you're base riolu?" riolu would look at Alex "Rio, riolu" riolu would move his head signaling that it was his home "wow it sure is big" riolu would smile proudly "riolu Riolu" Alex would smile "well let's see what you have in here" Alex would enter the cave seeing that it have food like various type of berry's and not much more"well it's okay I suppose it could get better, let's get some leaves and make a bed"
Alex would get out of the cave looking for leaves, after finding many of them he would go back to the cave, putting the leaves in the form of a bed making it a little more comfortable "good night riolu" riolu would get comfortable on alex's embrace "Rio" riolu would say and both Alex and riolu would finally fall asleep
