Chapter 19 - Smita in Danger

Varun: Alright, let's begin the match.

Varun was supremely confident in his skills. Having never heard of Aryan before, he didn't consider him a threat. Without hesitation, he challenged Aryan to a fight.

Aryan: Alright.

Aryan responded with a single word, devoid of emotion, and calmly took his stance.

On the other side, Varun prepared himself carefully. He started the fight with a flurry of power-packed strikes—landing 20 to 40 punches and kicks within just a couple of minutes.

But what followed stunned everyone.

Aryan stood rooted to his spot, unmoved, untouched. Then, instead of directly striking Varun, he punched the air. The very force of that punch sent Varun flying across the ring, crashing outside the boundary.

The crowd was left speechless.

No one had seen how Aryan attacked or how Varun was thrown. The shock of it echoed through the arena.

After this dramatic display, Rocky Bhai and Varun willingly accepted IMAA's authority over the Lion Group. Aryan had proven his dominance.

The next morning, Aryan caught a flight to Guwahati and later boarded an evening flight to return to his hometown. By the time he exited the airport, it was already 7 PM.

To his surprise—or perhaps not—Kajal was there to receive him.

In fact, Aryan had called her while waiting in Guwahati.

As he approached, Aryan simply said:

Aryan: Kajal, let's go.

Without further exchange, they walked towards the parking lot. Upon reaching his car, Aryan smirked.

Aryan: Oh, so you brought my beast to pick me up?

Kajal: Of course. I love your car—and it is a beast.

Aryan: (serious tone) Enjoyed the drive?

Kajal: Definitely, a lot.

Aryan: Then drive it again.

Kajal: Seriously?

Kajal had assumed Aryan would want to drive himself since he hadn't driven the car much since buying it. But instead, Aryan handed her the keys again—trusting her with his prized machine.

They got in, and Aryan placed his bag in the back seat. Kajal started the engine and drove toward Silchar.

After his recent isolation, Aryan hadn't spent much time with his maternal relatives. Knowing he was returning, his grandmother had organized a small celebration at the Cachar Club Hotel, which Aryan had recently acquired. It was Kajal's idea to pick him up and take him directly there.

Midway through the journey, Aryan's phone rang.

Ting… Ting…

He picked it up after two rings, without checking the caller ID.

Aryan: Hello?

Caller (panic-stricken): Aryan, please help me!

It only took a second for Aryan to recognize the voice—it was Smita. Quickly verifying the caller ID, he responded:

Aryan: What happened, Smita?

Smita: Aryan, please help… Manav and his friends… they're drunk and trying to force themselves on me… I don't know where I am… somewhere near Udharbond… in a tea estate…

Before she could finish, a voice interrupted from behind:

Unknown Male: Look! There she is!

Then, the line went silent. Aryan heard the sound of the phone hitting the ground. Smita had dropped it and started running before Manav and his friends could reach her.

Aryan (urgent): Kajal, Smita's in danger. Manav and his goons are trying to assault her.

Kajal: Where is she?

Aryan: She said she's somewhere near Udharbond, in a tea estate.

Kajal: There are two tea estates near Udharbond—Barshinga and Chandighat.

Aryan: Then it has to be one of them.

Without wasting a second, they sped towards the possible locations. Udharbond was surrounded by tea gardens, but Barshinga and Chandighat were the two closest ones—and both required passing through Udharbond.

Reaching the Chandighat Tea Estate, Aryan halted the car and stepped out. He closed his eyes and focused deeply. Within seconds, he activated his rare ability—Divya Drishti—his spiritual vision.

Though Aryan was already a Level 6 martial artist, using such a technique over a long distance was taxing. Even so, he managed to scan the area for Smita's presence.

Meanwhile, inside the estate, Smita was desperately fleeing. Her clothes had already been torn by Manav's gang. Clutching the remnants of her attire, she sprinted through the fields, trying to cover herself.

She darted into low tea bushes. Her tattered clothing snagged in the branches, forcing her to rip it further to escape. Finally, she found a shaded area beneath a tree and crouched down, hiding among the leaves.

Back in the field, Manav and his friends regrouped.

Friend 1: She's not here, we lost her.

Manav (furious): Idiots! Find her! Whoever finds Smita gets two hours alone with her!

From her hiding spot, Smita trembled in shame and fear, silently crying. Her heart broke—not just from what was happening—but from what Manav, someone she once trusted, had become.

As she reflected on their ruined bond, a sudden shout pierced the silence.

Friend 2: Look! A piece of cloth!

Manav: If her clothes are here, she must be close! I can't wait to see her like this.

They inched closer, sensing her presence behind the bushes.
