Chapter 2 - Chapter 01: Desire declined

It's been three long years. You lock me up here in this room, You've kept me starving for you, craving every glance, every touch you deny me. When will you stop tormenting me with your silence, your absence?

"I'm hungry," he said, the smile on David's face was so satisfying and he replied to him.

"I can feed you," he whispers.

But not the kind of nourishment you think I will offer you.

I can feed you bread, wine, and any other kind of food you craving for.

 No, it's you I want.

David, I'm the hunger you wake up with, the ache you sleep beside. I am flavor, fire, and temptation. Taste me once, and you'll only want more. Just one touch of your lips and you'll be ravenous.

Are you sure Mark? David said in a low softly voice I never knew you can sweet talk this much….

David word have zero effect on Mark all he want is hot night with him. He reply shamelessly Yes, David just allow my lips to touch yours.

David said to Mark fall on your knees. Let the hunger take you to beg for mercy, beg for me more.

Mark collapsed to his knees, breath ragged, eyes pleading as he looked up at David. "Please, David Marcos… I can't take it anymore," he whispered, voice thick with desperation. "I need you tonight. I'm burning up, I can't control myself. I want you, I want you so badly."

David didn't move. His gaze was steady, firm, but not unkind. "I told you," he said softly. "I won't touch you unless you love me. That was my promise."

Mark's chest rose and fell with quick, uneven breaths. David stepped closer but didn't reach out.

"If you tell me you love me," David said, "then I'll give you everything tonight. Everything you crave. I'll make this night unforgettable for both of us."

He knelt before Mark, voice low and intimate. "But I need to know. If you love me.

I want to be your lover… not just your release."

"I will never fall in love with someone like you," Mark said, his voice shaking with anger and something deeper he didn't want to name. "All I need from you is sex. Just that. No strings. No heart. Just... fuck me."

He stood there, shirt half-open, breath shallow, his eyes daring and desperate all at once. "I'm hard, David. It's heavy, it hurts. Help me."

David stood across the room, unmoving, a shadow against the pale light bleeding in through the window.

If you can't love me," David replied coldly, "then you can't have me. Do you think I'd touch you when all you see me as is a release? Plead all you want. I won't touch you. Love me or otherwise, never.

Mark's composure cracked. His fists pounded against the door. "I hate you so much!" he shouted, choking on his words. "Let me out! I'll go…. I'll find someone else, just one night. One night is all I'm asking for.

David turned, his expression unreadable. "In your dreams," he said.

Mark cried, his voice rising with anguish. "David, I hate you! I hate you!

David didn't look back. He opened the door, walked through, and closed it behind him—slowly, quietly, as if he hadn't just left a storm trembling in the room behind him.

David's footsteps echoed through the grand staircase as he descended into the foyer, his mind still heavy with thoughts of the operation ahead.

Tony, standing by the door. The car's ready. The clients are waiting… they just called to check on our movement," he said, his voice sharp but measured.

David said, Remember, no mercy. Whatever it takes, we need to succeed in this. We risk it all, understand?

David's gaze sharpened, his jaw tightening. His voice was low, the weight of his responsibility pressing down on him, yet there was a hint of something else hesitation, maybe doubt.

Before stepping out the door, David turned to the bodyguard stationed near the stairs. His tone was commanding but laced with concern. "Make sure Mark's safe. Give him everything he needs food, comfort, whatever it is. Don't let him leave his room, no matter what happens. You understand?

The bodyguard nodded, but David's eyes didn't soften. He knew Mark wasn't just a duty. He was something more. But there was no time to dwell on it now.

David then addressed the maid, her presence a quiet but necessary part of the household. "His meals need to be on time. No excuses. You all have your roles. Do them well." He paused, his gaze scanning the room as if trying to reassure himself. "Do it well," he repeated, more firmly.

With a final glance around, David stepped outside. The cool night air hit him, but his mind was still caught on Mark, on the weight of what he'd left behind.

Tony followed him, his footsteps heavy, matching the tension in the air. "Still worried about him?" Tony asked, the question quiet but pointed.

 David didn't look at him.

Tony sighed, frustration creeping into his voice. "You need to let go of the past, David. It's not your fault. You can't carry all of it.

David's expression remained unreadable as he slid into the car. "No matter what, it's still my duty to take care of him." His words were final, and for a moment, the weight of them hung in the air between them.

As the car pulled away, the streetlights cast long shadows across the driveway, and the journey ahead felt like an unspoken promise—one David couldn't break, no matter the cost.
