Lili woke up as she heard alarm sounds and her eyes turned looking extremely panicked as she got out of her bed and went downstairs in her pyjamas as she saw her mother talking what looks to be a detective and some police officers as she looked upwards. Her mother turned to her along with the rest. "Ah Lili, they want to ask you a couple of questions." Lili nodded and went up to the police waving. Zera sighed and said "Let's go talk on the table. You two, wait here." She pointed at the police officers as she went with Lili to sit down at the chairs. "So then, did you know there was a murder around here today, close to your house?" She asked as Lili looked surprised "Wait what, no! I had no knowledge of that!" She countered as Zera nodded and wrote down on her notes. "I had suspected." She simply decleared as Lili watched her carefully with upset eyes. "So then, what's your name?" Zera questioned and Lili looked away "I'm Lili June." Zera soon continued to ask "Have you known any murders around here recently?" As Lili said quite loudly "Yep, my friend Arthur, he died and I found him around a park." Zera paused when she was about to say something and straightened herself up remembering the event that happened a few weeks ago, so she found him first? Zera wondered as she said "We had that case before."
"Wait, are you the police she told you about?" Lili asked as Zera said a yes and thought that Lili was talking about Arthur's mother. Lili paused and she drank juice out of her cup before putting it on the table. "Have you found anything?" She asked being inquisitive and Zera said "Unfortunately, nothing yet." Which made Lili looked bewildered before she suddenly felt a pit in her own stomach. She turned her head away as her mouth shut tightly and Zera noticed "You need a moment?" She asked as Lili answered with a weak "Y-Yeah..." And ran to the bathroom as quickly as she could. She closed the door as she threw up in the toilet, her chest heaving with strained breathing as she leaned against the tub. She could feel her own hands shake with wild movement and took a moment to steady herself. Her eyes looked up seeing the light suddenly blind her as she looked away to the side while everything seemed to spin at once. She turned to look at the toilet and what made her gasp was the water turning red and gave off this sort of smell that made her instantly flush the toilet. Her reflection mocked her as she washed her own face with clean water and looked up, her vision now no longer seeing colourful shapes that did not seem to spin around. She came out as she heard a direct, smooth middle-aged woman's voice. Zera's voice "Ready to continue out questioning?"
"Yeah I'm ready." She went and sat down on the chair as Zera asked "Feel better now?" Lili gave out a choked "Y-Yes." As she coughed. Zera soon said "Okay I think we got two more questions left and we will let you off. Alright?" Lili nodded as she held her head down for a second. Zera asked "Well, have you known any close friends around here?" Lili replied with "Yeah Kirin is a close friend of mine. He moved quite far away but he used to live quite close to me." Zera had a thoughtful look in her eyes and continued to probe "Do you no his address?" And Lili said a immediate "No." and continued speaking "I have no idea where he went to, he didn't tell me for some odd reason." Zera got up and clapped her hands "Well that's done." She said calmly and put her notebook in her own pocket. "I will go speak to your mother, if you don't mind." She announced and left the main living room to go speak with her as Lili went back into her own room and closed the door behind her. She looked outside the windows, seeing the police talking to her own neighbours who seem to be looking with confusion and worry in their own faces. They were discussing something that she couldn't particularly hear anything but from what she guessed, it was completely serious. She jumped off her bed and grabbed out her phone to scroll through Arthur's messages before he died.
She opened up the app and there was their whole conversations. She swiped to their last conservation which Arthur said "Hey, I'm going to the park, meet me soon." And she replied with a smiley face emoticon as she remembered helping her mother out when she had bring a present to her Aunt who was rather quiet and sophisticated and both of them didn't get along very well, Lili was way more energetic and seemed to cause messes sometimes. Which made her get on tense terms with her Aunt. She grabbed the watering can and began to water one of her flowers as she looked outside of the window. The police looked to be leaving finally as she went downstairs to grab a snack. She saw her mother leaning her hand against her head as she asked "You hungry sweetie?" And Lili nodded. She got up moving to make food as Lili grabbed out a plate and a fork and a knife as she waited for the food to be done. After it was done, her mother put it in her plate as Lili began to eat with her own hunger. She had been hungry despite her own sickness as she chew on the pieces of meat with her own fork. She looked up seeing her mother focusing on something as she contemplated about asking her if she was alright or not but decided not to ask as she looked at her own food while Ms June got out a newspaper to read.
